Some of the film is hypotheticial but also alot of it is based on hardcore evidence found during the garrison investigation. his theory may be spot on. he didn't create the evidence from thin air after all. The film does cut corners on some factual evidence but it mostly matches the evidence found and talked about in Garrisons book "trail of the assasins" ....

Garrison held this trial expecting and perhaps even knowing he would lose. The trial was never the point though, I don't think - the point was to create an opening - even one as small as a pin prick - to vent out some of the truths he came to realise. He knew the odds were against him, but the real victory was never going to be prosecuting Shaw even if he was was successful, but rather just finding an opening, however small, to reveal the facts.

sure, connally wasn't right in front of kenendy. He was to the left and down. there was never a mystery. this has been know since the WC. Stone just moved Connally. the bullet path was always a perfect trajectory from the TBSD through Kennedy and into Connally's back. and the bullet wasn't unscathed, it was all fucked up at the bottom. It wasn't badly marked because it didn't hit bone until it had lost most of its momentum. this movie is "hollywood" history.

Never mind all the testimony of medical experts, and the audio analysis that confirmed the shots from the grassy knoll, none of that matters. I have seen the whole bullet. 360 degrees, on all axis. there is ZERO deformation consistent with breaking/passing through bone.

And there was not "more" lead taken from his wrist than missing from the bullet. however neutron activation analysis did say it was "highly likely" the fragments in connally's wrist were from the bullet found on the stretcher.

The bullet that hit connally was confirmed to have already passed through an object when it first struck him and the bullet which hit kennedy in the back did not strike bone. this bullet was moving at less than half its original velocity by the time it hit connally's bone and the deformation was consistent with a bullet striking bone at that velocity. There is no other theory that is even possible.

Oswald was NOT a sharp-shooter. His Marine buddies described him as having "maggots in his drawers"... meaning he was (at best) an average shot, but more often than not, he was a lousy shot. The sixth and fatal shot, frame 313 takes Kennedy in the head from the front. This is the key shot. The President going back and to his left. Shot from the front and right.

Connaly you'll notice shows no signs at all of being hit. He is visibly holding his Stetson, which is impossiable if his wrist has been shattered. Connaly is turning here now, frame 238 the fourth shot. It misses Kennedy and takes Connaly in the back. This is the shot that proves there were two rifles. Connaly yells out "My God! They are going to kill us all." Somewhere around this time another shot that misses the car completely, strikes James Tague down by the underpass. The car brakes.
Frame 161, Kennedy stops waiving as he hears something. Connaly's head turns slightly to the right. Frame 193, the second shot hits Kennedy in the throat from the front. Frame 225, the President emerging from behind the road sign, you can see that he's obviously been hit, raising his arms to his throat. The third shot, frame 232, takes Kennedy in the back pulling him downward and forward.

He invented a story to coincide with this photo and invented the name "Pristine Bullet." He has since admitted he fabricated this story for dramatic effect and will no longer discuss it in interviews.

Members of the jury, when interviewed, stated that they would have been back sooner had some of said jury not had to use the bathroom. Some of the film is hypotheticial but also alot of it is based on hardcore evidence found during the garrison investigation. his theory may be spot on. he didn't create the evidence from thin air after all. Garrison wasn't a nut, he was straight up and no nonsense. Found alot of valuable evidence. The film does cut corners on some factual evidence but it mostly matches the evidence found and talked about in Garrisons book "trail of the assasins" ....

You should buy a cheap Mosin Nagant Surplus Rifle & some surplus ball ammo. Practice shooting it a bit & see if you can do anything close to what Oswald is said to done. First report of the gun found in the SBD is of a longer barrel version. The DPD only got the rifle type & barrel length right after they got the gun to the station. Make all the assumptions that you want, an everyday hack shot the most powerful man in the world. Does it add up? No, it does not add up at all, but every once in a while a situation just doesnt add up. This is one of those situations. People want to believe so bad that theres an extraordinary reason that JFK died. It was not a conspiracy. Garrison held this trial expecting and perhaps even knowing he would lose. The trial was never the point though, I don't think - the point was to create an opening - even one as small as a pin prick - to vent out some of the truths he came to realise. He knew the odds were against him, but the real victory was never going to be prosecuting Shaw even if he was was successful, but rather just finding an opening, however small, to reveal the facts.

sure, connally wasn't right in front of kenendy. He was to the left and down. there was never a mystery. this has been know since the WC. Stone just moved Connally. the bullet path was always a perfect trajectory from the TBSD through Kennedy and into Connally's back. and the bullet wasn't unscathed, it was all fucked up at the bottom. It wasn't badly marked because it didn't hit bone until it had lost most of its momentum. this movie is "hollywood" history.

Do you know what a bullet looks like after hitting bone? I guess not. The Warren Commission was a white wash and you know it. If you cant see that you are hopeless.

@The4LA2Baker0 just go to the macadams site where they have a picture of the bottom of the bullet. it's not pristine it's mangled. conspiracy theorists just don't bother showing that picture. and it's already been established that it never hit bone until after it had passed through Kennedy and part of Connally. It was moving at less than half its original speed by then. the warren commission was accurate and you never read it and don't know what's in it.

This "single bullet," which was full metal jacketed and specifically designed to pass through the human body, was deformed and not in a pristine state as some detractors claim. Though a side view seems to show no visible damage, a view from the end of the bullet shows a significant flattening.

Never mind all the testimony of medical experts, and the audio analysis that confirmed the shots from the grassy knoll, none of that matters. I have seen the whole bullet. 360 degrees, on all axis. there is ZERO deformation consistent with breaking/passing through bone.

@The4LA2Baker0 no you haven't. because if you had you'd know that the bullet wasn't pristine and and the bottom up picture shows this. and you'd know that none of the entrance wounds are consistent with anything but a shot from behind, and that the "audio analysis" you speak of was done in the late 70s and since found to be a recording of an event before the assassination, and that other bullets that hit bone at the same velocity came up the same. you guys aren't science, you're religion.

honestly, you people have to stop making things up. all but one doctor that worked on JFK at parkland agreed that the autoposy was definitive, there was an entrance wound in his back and the tracheotomy obliterated the exit wound. And there was not "more" lead taken from his wrist than missing from the bullet. however neutron activation analysis did say it was "highly likely" the fragments in connally's wrist were from the bullet found on the stretcher.

2 Yeah, common sense says that its pretty much impossible for a bullet to do what they say the "magic bullet" did, but it has been shown that however very unlikely, it would have been possible.(common sense once said that it would be impossible for America to have a black president, USA beat the Soviets in '80 and Apollo 13 to be saved)

The bullets test fired into cotton wadding looked EXACTLY like the magic bullet, no deformation, except the normal slight bulging at the BASE of the bullet(in no way a sign of impact, its from the primer detonation) that you speak of.

The bullet that hit connally was confirmed to have already passed through an object when it first struck him and the bullet which hit kennedy in the back did not strike bone. this bullet was moving at less than half its original velocity by the time it hit connally's bone and the deformation was consistent with a bullet striking bone at that velocity. There is no other theory that is even possible.

on the history chanell the magic bullet , oswalds marine sharpshooters record book is shown he was quite a good shot usually hitting 47 out of 50 , you have to be to make it to be a sharpshooter , while out hunting with lee his brother robert said lee never needed a second shot , he had not trouble making an 88 yd shot at a human silhouette , niether does the 6.5 carcano , if the scope was defective it caused him to miss the 1st shot and struck high in the head while aiming for the 3rd shot

Oswald was NOT a sharp-shooter. His Marine buddies described him as having "maggots in his drawers"... meaning he was (at best) an average shot, but more often than not, he was a lousy shot. Even if he were a sharpshooter, the Manlliker Carcano rifle found on the 6th floor of the Book Depository building was old, rusty and had a misaligned / defective scope. Plus it's his most rushed shot that strikes the president in the head? Something there ain't right.

Connaly you'll notice shows no signs at all of being hit. He is visibly holding his Stetson, which is impossiable if his wrist has been shattered. Connaly is turning here now, frame 238 the fourth shot. It misses Kennedy and takes Connaly in the back. This is the shot that proves there were two rifles. Connaly yells out "My God! They are going to kill us all." Somewhere around this time another shot that misses the car completely, strikes James Tague down by the underpass. The car brakes.

Frame 161, Kennedy stops waiving as he hears something. Connaly's head turns slightly to the right. Frame 193, the second shot hits Kennedy in the throat from the front. Frame 225, the President emerging from behind the road sign, you can see that he's obviously been hit, raising his arms to his throat. The third shot, frame 232, takes Kennedy in the back pulling him downward and forward.

Stone's motive for making this movie was not only a search for the truth, but a call to action for all of us to stop believing the packaged lies we are told on a daily basis. There are no rules for filmmaking that say everything has to be true. But when people take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and they murder a sitting President because they don't like his politics that is called TREASON. Stone also wanted to know why 58,000 young men had to die in Vietnam.

I somewhat agree with you. Stone has garnered vast success from Viet Nam. "Platoon" described the scene. "Born On The 4th Of July" described the aftermath. And "JFK" was really a narrative attempt to put the "blame" on who caused this calamity. That is my issue with "JFK." It's a tool for Stone's exploit but, some people don't know that. America is a strange place....every once in awhile a piece of Hollywood becomes our history. "JFK" is Stone's history....not ours.

I like his sarcasm in this speech he wrote (Garrison never made this summation) where he says "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it." Apparently this is a quote from Hitler . Stone probably believes this himself. It worked for him with this ridiculous film of his called JFK.

It's not Hollywood's job to define and record history. Journalists are supposed to do that, only they don't and haven;t for decades. Newspapers and encyclopedias are full of complete misinformation. The media are complicit in covering up and lying about history to suit their own needs and line their own pocketbooks. Hollywood is about drama not about verbatim accounts of events. You cannot even get the same account of a news event on 2 or more channels anymore. It is about the spin.

It simply was a film making idea that sounds persuasive. Second, the speech we see on this vid from the film JFK was written for the film JFK. Garrison never made this summation. Third, in light of the outright obvious revisionist attempt by Stone to sell movie tickets i would ask you.....do not EVER quote this film in college!

I already did a post on here stating that many people know the Garrison summation speech was creative drama. There are photos of Warren Commission exhibit 399 also known as the "magic bullet" and it is NOT fictional. You can see the thing on the internet if you look. The revisionist is not Stone. The revisionists are the ones who asked all Americans to believe a story that defies logic, physics, and common sense. Stone is a Vietnam Veteran, Navy Seal, and won a Purple Heart Medal.

You are describing the "Magic bullet" theory, which details an impossible bullet trajectory due to ignorance of Connelly's position in the car. There are numerous photos of this round recovered from Connelly. Stone chose a photo of the round depicting a portion of the round with no damage. He invented a story to coincide with this photo and invented the name "Pristine Bullet." He has since admitted he fabricated this story for dramatic effect and will no longer discuss it in interviews.

I totally agree. My how the definition of patriotism has been skewed in recent years. The ones who harped on it the most (Cheney and Bush) were the very ones who refused to go to Vietnam and got multiple deferments from military service. Yet look at how they champed at the bit to get into war. It had not a damned thing to do with patriotism. It was all about money, oil, and enriching the military machine and bankers.

I do not think that this "might" be the most terrbile incident in U.S. history, I firmly believe that this was the worst incident in the history of mankind, have been asked what would have happened if JFK had been in power? maybe even today we had seen the disaster swl the eleventh of September 2001, MAYBE .. many things are different today ..
