Video difficult to follow; Had to hit Pause/Play! Rather than renaming .lnk file as shown, find the .lnk file you want to map to the PTT button, then use COPY option, which save the original. Otherwise, I'm UNCERTAIN (?) if the original links will work. In any case, I wanted to map something relatively harmless to the short_PTT.lnk, as it's so easy to press button accidentally, so I used notetake.lnk, which pens useful Notes page. For long_PTT.lnk I used recorder.lnk, which was my main goal!
The soft resets let your Fuze reload the registry so the changes take effect. To adjust the volume keys you can try using an app called AEButtons - I hear it works. I mvoe the apps (like vibra) to main memory only because they will get used a lot so I don't want a read delay.
If you wanted to sell your Fuze just do a hard reset and your original registry settings should come back.
Could you post another one that tells us how to adjust one of the volume control buttons? I don't need two buttons to control the same thing, when I have a touch screen.
I love that you've posted a video on how to do this, but please improve the video by either renaming those original registry keys first or backing them up. What if I ever want to sell this phone? The buyer might be flaming pissed about the modified PTT, even though I personally never use it.
Nothing, unless you were typing something in MS Word mobile or whatever and forgot to save it, soft reset is the same as pushing the reset button on your computer.

When you use the total commander, can you change that ugly gray AT&T theme?
