I agree completely with what he says. Back in the 80s when I was in High School, there were many kids that were like...If I don't have a Jackson, I can't play...and guess what....after they got a Jackson they couldn't play 2 notes!!! Is all in the hands and the time you spend practicing..not in the gear. If half people understood that...but again...better for us that practice like freaks

@Vendel13 I honestly think that's no truth at all ,at least from my experience . What if the guitar sounds like crap ? Or if you're playing thru a crappy amplifier at a a gig and you have to play with a tone that you hate ?Your fingers will help for sure,but it's not all there to me... imo,it may be more honest to say 33% guitar 33% fingers 33% amp (And the left 1% luck ahahah)

@JeezoozeChrysler I agree with you, but at the same time learn to make crap sound decent and when you get into something more hi tech, you will sound REALLY good. You will be blown away, and wont want to stop playing.
