@ajb9470 yep! my buds got one for him and his dad. he weighs like 75 pounds and his dad weighs like 3 times that. lol and the power and power curves are perfect! but get an older one or a newer one with an older body. lol the new ones kinda look like bugs with fenders!!

can someone help out?? i bought a 400ex a week ago to start it i have to push it and in 1st or 2nd gear let go of the clutch because when i hit the start button it makes a clicking noise but i charged the battery and it makes the same click noise,is it the battery or some other electric component?

Bad starter.. duh lol. Try tapping on it with a wrench for now, but you need a new one.

Most likely it's a bad starter solenoid and not the starter itself

get a new battery ...my dirtbike did that and a new battery fixed it

It's the starter solenoid. You should be able to get one at most bike shops for about $20

it also may be the positvewire going to the battery. mine somtimes comes loose and i have to wiggle it and push the start buttom at the same time.

I know exactly what it's worth. I sold it for $2400 a couple months ago. I've got another yellow 01 just went through the top end of it yesterday, new rings and valve seals. It's stock bore procicuit pipe. Also have a red 2000 it's a 426 with a big gun. Take your pick $2200.

u need some DG nerf bars i have the same quad but mine has DG nerfs and DG push bar and a PRM full under body skid plate and a big bore 440 bore kit it defenatly increases its performance alot!!

I personally don't care for the 440's they tend to run hot and like to blow head gaskets. They do run well though. I've got a set of DG's on one of my others and they aren't bad at all.
