  • SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO HASN`T SEEN THE LAST EPISODE OF SERIES 6

I didn`t even think about that River and the doctor said the same thing when they met in the final episode, "Hi, honey, I`m home" "and what sort of time do you call this?" haha xD I love Doctor who

  • So... The T.A.R.D.I.S's brakes are on? That line was seriously f**ked up man.

  • trust the plastic

  • I just finished watching Mr. William Hartnell, and he is quoted as saying that the TARDIS can't think, it's a machine....

Mr. 1st Doctor, I don't think you've been with your magic stolen box long enough to call her Sexy yet :)

  • HAHAHA trust the plastic XD

  • Just in.

That's the sort of time it is, River. Just in time.

  • Notice that the exploding tardis + the cloud formation creates an illuminati eye in the sky? There are some other references throughout the episode. The Doctor is cast as a false god creating the universe in a second big bang. I wondered why the Dr. Who logo turned into an ovoid at the start of the new seasons.

Illuminati references are becoming so common place in media that it's becoming tiresome.

  • @Jcolinsol The whole Illuminati conspiracy theory was spawned from a fiction trilogy.

That said, I really don't think that Doctor Who is full of subliminal messages relating to the group.

  • @rillera25

You mean the Illuminatus triology? The authors drew on pre-existing conspiracy theories, and of course, the historical Illuminati organization and other secret societies.

It's not a Dr Who specific thing, if you pay attention you can see it all over the media right now. Which is curious, if it all just amounts to references to a sci-fi novel.

  • @Jcolinsol

    *facepalm*

  • @purplebananafish

Oh what are you facepalming about now? Honestly, you diminish the facepalm when you apply it to a reasonable conversation like this.

  • @Jcolinsol

It's....it's a big ball of fire. In no way does it resemble the symbol of a (fictional, by the way) group. You might as well say "The Sun looks just like the illuminnati's eye! They're behind everything! Everything I tell you!"

I think you need to take your meds and go talk to a squirrel about your nutty conspiracy theories . Because we certainly don't care.

  • @purplebananafish

The ball of fire forms the pupil, the way that the clouds interact with the light, clearly forms an ovoid, together they make an eye. The eye in the triangle is a well known historical symbol, and it is often associated with sun gods specifically. The illuminati were a historical group, this is a fact.

If you don't see it, that's fine, but don't condescend to tell me to ignore what I am seeing right before me. And don't tell me it's nutty, that's just rude.

  • @purplebananafish

I mean, screw me for considering the subtext! For exploring the content of this television program I enjoy. Seriously, what a jerk I am for doing that. I should cut that out. I ought to stop thinking about what artists are trying to communicate to me entirely, huh?

When will I learn? Gosh, what a dork I am. I think I'll just sit back and laugh at the fez jokes (fezzes, often associated with secret societies, NO, bad viewer, NAUGHTY)

  • @Jcolinsol

Steven Moffat is not affilated with the Illumanati. Ask him on Twitter if he has referenced them in his work and I can guarantee he will say no. Stop reading too much into things.

  • @purplebananafish

I didn't say that he was, though I don't think that you could say that he isn't with any confidence. But Doctor Who IS full of references and symbolism, this can't be denied.

Honestly, what did I say that could possibly warrant how bent out of shape you are about this? If you don't like the conversation, then you needn't comment. But, for your own sake, don't comment if you don't have anything relevant to say.

  • @Jcolinsol

"But Doctor Who IS full of references and symbolism, this can't be denied."

Alright then. I could do with a laugh. Give me some examples.

  • Comment removed

  • @purplebananafish

No, fuck you troll. Go do your own research, ignorant twat.

  • @Jcolinsol Well, well that wasn't very nice was it? And I prefer the term hobgoblin if you wouldn't mind. I guess you really don't have any evidence. Now take your meds and try not to bite any orderlies.

  • @purplebananafish

You, derisively demand evidence, while at the same time implying that you'll just laugh at anything I say anyway, all this, AFTER I've already pointed out the symbolism in this very clip. Ask me why I should take your query seriously?

There's a big eye in the sky looking down at Doctor Who, and you're laughing at me for pointing it out to you?

I'll be happy to play nice with you, when you learn how to play nice with others. Good day sir,

  • @Jcolinsol

"There's a big eye in the sky looking down at Doctor Who, and you're laughing at me for pointing it out to you?"

No. The Atraxi are a giant eyeball. But in this clip there is just a big ball of fire. And the character's name is "The Doctor".

  • Freeze it at 1.28 and tell me is that fine or what!

  • "i can't hear anything"

    "trust the plastic!"

  • The TARDIS is fully sentient and was exploding (and proberly in agonising pain) for 2000 years, just so she could keep the human race alive.

Sexy really doesn't get enough credit for all the shit she gets put through.

  • Okay, I am about to get into this show, but can anyone tell me if I have to watch from season 1 of to understand fully what's happening? And if I have to, where can I find these episodes in good quality?

  • @supersebnb1

the show has been going for fifty years, so they're are used to newcomers, just watch series 5 of the new series and you should be good

  • Why Was There A Concrete Wall When River Opened The TARDIS Doors?

  • @HowToVidsOfficial To protect River from falling off the TARDIS.

  • doctor: good question for another day = he has no clue.

  • AWESOME!

  • You know, when you've seen the Doctor's Wife, episodes like this take on another meaning. The TARDIS has been exploding for over 2000 years, think about that for a moment

  • @wildste why has it been exploding for over 2000 years????

  • @wildste The TARDIS weren't exploding for 2000 years. It only seemed like that because time is relative but actually it was exploding for the amount of time it took the Doctor to reboot the universe.

  • @SlackersJournal No, it actually has been exploding for 2000 years. They have stated numerous times (both in separate episodes and in Doctor Who Confidential) that Rory is actually older than the Doctor at this point.

  • @wildste all the universe except for a tiny blimp was erased within a second. And it took that blimp 2000 years to be erased? Rory is that old because the Doctor traveled forward and prolonged Earth's existence. Not the TARDIS's existence.

  • @SlackersJournal Did you pay attention to the video, or the episode even. All the stars have vanished, and the TARDIS exploding is the only thing that has been keeping the Earth warm all this time. You just admitted in that previous post that Earth's existence was prolonged and it was prolonged because the TARDIS was exploding for 2000 years keeping the Earth from freezing over like the rest of the universe.

  • Her reaction... "And what sort of time do you call this." She's joking. As the universe is ending, and she's trapped in an exploding TARDIS. She's joking. Damn, that takes (metaphorical) balls.

  • Bowties are cool <3

  • @NerrissCullen

It traped her in the Tardis so the blast won't esape

  • something i dont understand: when river opened the door, she was faced with a concrete wall, so when the TARDIS exploded and river was inside, it was in the sky. how was the brick wall in the sky? x

  • @NerrissCullen It wasn't, its meant to be sort of a failsafe, so that she doesn't fall off the TARDIS.

  • @MrLoxinator thxx

  • @NerrissCullen Gets back to how the Tardis is bigger on inside than on outside. He said Tardis had sealed her in, as part of safety measure. She opened the door & there was no space & time, nothing. More interesting part to me is how he teleported in, but I've not gotten to see the episode yet. Just from this clip, looks like he had something similar to what Captain Jack was using to travel, on his wrist. Perhaps there's something down below, though no clips to right seem to offer the spoiler.

  • lol

    they are hilarious

  • Anyone else notice that the last few seasons have involved the universe/time collapsing on itself?

  • Doctor: Hi honey, I'm home

River : And what sort of a time do you call this?

    oh, how i love them! <3 <3 <3

  • how'd he get there???

  • @PatrickArch Into the tardis?? He used Rivers vortex manipulator

  • I think That Every one like Matt smith because of the reason i dont like him. HE IS TOO YOUNG

  • Keep on pressing four and listen to Rory meow!!

  • @nerfking541 The Big Bang 2

  • Ooooh lord, such a handsome lad <3333

  • QUESTION: WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS EPISODE?

  • @nerfking541 ermmm.... the big bang i think.

  • @nerfking541 The Big Bang

  • @nerfking541 the big bang (series 5 episode 13)

  • "I wear a fez now, fez's are cool."

  • Oh my god hes wearing a FEZ! XP

  • Matt smith had a lot to live up to after David Tennant and I think hes done an amazing job xx

  • "Trust the plastic."

    I fucking love Arthur Darvill.

  • Hi honey I'm home.

Does he flirt without realising it?!??

  • @RiverPond00 No, I'm pretty sure he realizes it. :P

  • trust the plastic! best line ever xD

  • I never really connected with Eccleston, I LOVED Tennant, but Matt Smith has taken over as my favourite :D as have his companions.

  • @SilaVendethiel I do love his quirkiness and humour. Makes for an excellent mad man (in a box)! :D

  • @SilaVendethiel loved all of them

  • @SilaVendethiel I never liked Ecclesotn either

  • @zimofrite How can you not like chris. he was so funny. he was the one who got me watching doctor who.

  • @SilaVendethiel I love them all, but there is a special place in my heart for Nine. If he'd come back for a second season, he'd be my favourite, but as things stand, I'd guess it's Ten I like best.

Of course, Eleven still rules, as does his Companions. ^-^

  • @SilaVendethiel So, your favourite companions are a ginger whore and Mickey Smith? Just sayin'.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 1. Gingers are awesome. End of.

    2. "Whore"? Really? Alright, so she's somewhat romantically unstable, but she grew up with nary a role model; anyone would be damaged by the childhood she had. 3. Rory Williams is a BAMF in a bodywarmer. Just sayin'.

  • @SilaVendethiel 1. I never said they weren't.

    2. She attempted to get into the Doctors pants the day before her wedding, then on the actual day, she tried to kiss him in front of her loving husband. A damaged childhood isn't MUCH of an excuse.

    3. Mickey Smith is Chuck Norris. Just sayin'.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 I think Amy's just messed up, but I still like her. She's strong, resourceful, and ginger. All good things. I just try not to think about her habit of kissing the Doctor, since in the end she chose Rory.

  • @SilaVendethiel I like the fact she's ginger and hot... That is all... For me, she simply ruined my opinion of her from that kiss(es).

  • I love Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, and Matt smith. No way could I choose between them! <3

  • "Hi honey, I'm home"

"And what sort of time do you call this!?"

    Lol.

  • You have GOT to wonder.... How many times has River been through that exact time loop?!

  • I love the lip she gives him... :D

  • It just occurred to me-the Doctor's actual age is somewhere close to 1500-if Riversong was stuck in a time loop and is a half-time lady (A Good Man Goes to War)-doesn't that mean she is billions of years old-older than any time lord has reached (and the oldest human birthed child, considering two humans made a time lady with a bit of the TARDIS heart in her)?

  • @numutabin Jack might be older than her... :D i mean he did live for hundreds of years. several times. Like 3...

  • Amy : I can't here anything

    Rory : Trust the plastic.

    LOL

    Doc: Hi honey, i'm home

River : And what sort of a time do you call this?

    LOOOOOLLLLLL

    love Doctor Who!!!

  • @BadWolfRT Yup. That's my math class, just with aliens and a sentient, time-travelling police box.

  • @BadWolfRT Roflmfao

  • I'm a bit disappointed they tricked Matt Smith and destroyed the fez... :) When I saw the behind the scenes when they said : "Oh but no ! I've planned a trick ! As soon as he gets the fez, the fez gets destroyed" I thought : nooo! we could've had a fez-ed Doctor for the whole series !!!

  • @EIEN07 That would've been... annoying.

  • that women in the tardis, was she in season 4 with the vashta nerada

  • @krueger231 Yep. sad episode even though we didnt know her. Quite genius of Steven Moffat to show us how she dies before we really get to know her

  • Aw, I love River<3

  • Fezfezfezfezfezfezfezfezfezfezfezfezfezfezfez ^_^

  • @TashaIsDead Then I shot the fez.

  • Matt Smith playes the doctor well enough to keep me watching the show bud David Tennant is still my doctor

  • Well the BBC are up to date.

  • fejes are cool.

  • @Supergamerkid64 dude, its called fez

  • @BrooklynBros

What part didn't you get? 'Cos the plot seemed straightforward to me :P

  • @BrooklynBros I don't understand, this isn't the first time doctor who has had a dark tone, look at the episode with "The empty child" that was pretty dark. The plot wasn't complex at all if you reply at what bit you didn't understand i will try and help you.

  • Is that a new version?

  • I love Matt Smith so much<3!

  • Eleven/River<3 ;D

  • "What time do you call this?!"

  • That hat is NOT workin for ya buddy..You look like a giant nipple xD

  • Wait...what plastic?

  • @aswolf he was a plastic roman at the start and he been protecting amy in who was trapped in pandoras box

  • hi honey. I'm home.

I woulda been like, REALLY? WE ARE AT THE CENTER OR A FREAKIN EXPLOSION!!!!

anyway, i love the doctor!!! ;)

  • @AFOband River's reaction was the same as mine would've been

  • come on people fuck off about david tennant, YES he was the best doctor ever imo but matt smith still deserves to be recognised as the doctor as well. david is not coming back so just stfu and enjoy matt smiths performance as much as you can if u still cant stop orgasming over DT go watch series' 2-4.....david said himself he wanted someone else to have a chance and he didnt want to be selfish and i respect him for that, he did have 2 seasons all to himself you know

  • @LeeJ2512 You really can't count, can you? If he had series 2 through 4, think about it logically. How can that possibly be 2 seasons? Season 2, Season 3 and Season 4 makes 3 seasons, not two!

  • @AnimeMoviePro i typed 2 instead of 3 gimme a break....ever heard of a typo?

  • This is an Eleventh Doctor video, stop going on about David/Tenth Doctor. He was good, yes, he's gone now. If you want to fan boy him. Do it on Tenth Doctor videos. Personally, I think Matt is the best Doctor yet, so if you wan to hate. Do it somewhere else, you're not a true Doctor Who fan if you can't accept that the Doctor changes.

  • oh I wish they added : "Whats for lunch?" haha

that would be cool (just like bow ties)!

And about Tennant-Smith affair,I think they both,in their own way,are fantastic Doctors and brilliant actors.they both bring their own energy into the show, just like every actor before them, and that is really the reason this show is so awesome!

    xD

  • I've finally seen Matt Smith as the doctor and he's not bad.I like him but let's just say that David will always be my favorite doctor.Again Matt is doing a fine job.

  • people complain about matt being the doctor than whats the point of the doctor? hes supposed to change. they cant have David forever plus i like matt hes awesome sauce.

  • Tom Baker= the best Doctor

    David Tennant= my Doctor

    Matt Smith= my favorite Doctor

  • @grandchildofchaos I completely agree!

  • @grandchildofchaos me is more like this

    Matt Smith: My Doctor

    Peter Davison: My Favourite Doctor

    Jon Pertwee: The Doctor Who

  • @grandchildofchaos

Sorry, what? How can you have 'the best' and 'my favourite' for different doctors? I must be missing something screamingly obvious here.

  • @mrwho995 it's because Tom Baker is statisticly the best Doctor. He was the most popular for the longest. Matt Smith may change that, but Baker was the Doctor for ten years. Matt Smith is my favorite, but Tom Baker is literally the best Doctor so far, and Tennant is my Doctor because he;s the one who got me into the show.

  • @grandchildofchaos

Thanks for the answer, but I'm pretty sure that now Tennant is statistically the best, according to most polls.

  • @mrwho995 possably, but Baker was most popular for the longest. Also most people who were watching Doctor who when Baker was the Doctor will say that Baker is thier Doctor.

  • @grandchildofchaos my doctor was Christopher Eccleson, even though he only lasted 1 series

  • @lv2draw1 Christopher Eccleson was fantastic :)

  • @lv2draw1 same but i prefer matt

  • @grandchildofchaos

    Correction,

    Matt Smith = The Doctor.

  • Christopher Eccelston best doctor.

  • Trust the plastic

  • Dr: Hi Honey,I'm home!

River: And what sort of time do you call this!?!?!

Dr:I don't know! I just came up to save you and you great me like this!?!?

    River: So...

Dr: So you should stop eing rude to me or I will go back WITHOUT YOU!

    River: Go on then!

    Dr: Thats it BYE!!

River: Oh he really did mean it...

LOL THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE!

  • matt > david tennant

  • Really, people still cant respect other peoples opinions? We all loved our very first Doctor (Chris is still my personal favourite) but if your all going to bitch about who is better then dare I say it, you're making the Who fan base look nearly as bad as the Sonic one.

If we're all going to argue about who is the definitive and ultimate Doctor then the answer is obvious, it's William Hartnell. He was the original, he built the foundations of the character and he was the first to beat the Daleks

  • @RYCloud92 I'd just like to sit back a minute nd applaud you rofl. Earlier I thought exactly the same thing as you: The sonic fanbase are never happy, and it's the same for the who fanbase! David's still my favourite but I'm still giving Matt a chance :D He started shakily but he's decent now, and I think in his next series he will find his groove :D

  • @kingt34 I actually think he has found his groove to be honest, though it must have been a lot of pressure filming in 2010 with all the death threats people where stating. Moffat said that Series 5 was just to calm people back into the show and to ensure them that even though the TARDIS has changed and the Doctor has it is still the same old show, thats why the Daleks and Cybermen where in it. This next series however is going to get darker from what I've heard, and only one old enemy returns.

  • Let's all hold and and sing about butterflies, because we should all know that is is a television show and there is no reason to get worked up about who plays a fictional character better.

  • Aw I LOVE it when he just calmly stands there saying "Hi honey. I'm home." like the TARDIS isn't exploding around him XD

    <3 Matt

  • @funkymash after what happened to the TARDIS when he regenerated stuff like that probably no longer phases him

  • I am a David Tennant fan and it took me some time to get over ther being a new doctor but I sucked it up and gave Matt Smith a chance and I think he makes a great Doctor so some people should just try to get over it already, who knows in a few years Matt Smith will be gone and we will have a new doctor thats just how it is.

  • If you all bum David Tennant so much go watch his best bits and don't come on here bashing Matt Smith!

  • Fezzes are cool. :)

  • "Trust the plastic" Rory is brilliant!!!

  • AAAHHH! Stop comparing matt and david! no one compared christopher eccelston to any of the classic doctors such as Tom Baker so why is it such a big deal now? Just stop crying and get exited because we only need to wait 2 more days for series 6!!! :D

  • i am finding it impossible to enjoy these videos of MATT's best moments because they are full of fangirls hating on him.

  • Matt > David

  • Best View today

  • OOOH, Captain Jack Sparrow as the Doctor?

  • David > Matt! And I think that River could be...Compassion. Let me explain. Anyone remember Compassion from Big Finish? She was a human TARDIS. Who's to say that River isn't her or a human TARDIS? It would explain things!

  • @spikelilgirl spoiler alert. river is a pure human. so naff off fangirl. also matt>david. if you can't deal with it then stop watching

  • @OmegaShenron6574 It was just an idea! And how is Matt better than David? I never heard of him until Doctor Who. Where I have seen David Tennant in others things before he was the Doctor. And I have been a fan of Doctor Who since Tom Baker was on, so I will still watch it no matter who the Doctor is.

  • @spikelilgirl thats the point. the doctor is making him. He is putting is all into it without getting hammy like tennant

  • "thrust the plastic" LMAO! i laughed everytime i hear that and the reaction on her face.

  • OMG I luv dis scene...... i watch it everydaiiii.....:)

  • I agree that David Tennant was indeed the best doctor ever, but Matt Smith's still a great doctor.

  • @jakebiomask no he wasn't tom baker was. tennant hammed it up too much in his last two years

  • @OmegaShenron6574 Haha! hammed it up! You can say you don't like his doctor, but accusing him of hamming it up is ridiculous. David Tennant is one of the greatest actors in the country.

  • Matt:Sure step into my tardis

David:Look inside my tardis?....Of course you can!

  • There's never been a terrible actor for doctor who. I love them all.

But I think personality wise ignoring the acting.

    Tom Baker > All

  • christopher ecceslton > david & matt

  • Doctor: Hey Honey I am Home.

    River: Its about time to

  • I love David AND Matt. I just don't think they're comparable. They bring such different elements to The Doctor.

  • what the hell is she saying? I can't understand:))))

  • @GcKKK who river? River says "And what time do you call this then?"

  • trust the plastic.....
