  • great design but where is the tree?

  • Is there any way or anywhere that I could get me a bonsai as beautiful as the ones that Walter Pall designs?!!

Does he sell his bonsais at all to individual customers?

  • @angierre yes he sells them. Search for Walter Pall bonsai adventures.

  • just look at the tree now.

  • What does it look like today?

  • link is in video description!

  • Yes, I found it after I asked the question.

    Thanks.

    Great videos.

  • @gigman7 He posted a new photo on his website today 13/11/2010. Google for "Walter pall bonsai adventures" 2010/11 "Orriental hornbeam number 1"

  • i think thats too much.. hahahah

  • what i like about bonsai trees is that they are simply miniature trees, that is, copies of something found in nature. But when taken to this guys kind of overkill(in my opinion),the tree cease to be its miniature version and becomes instead a stunted, unnatural alteration of nature. I think theres a difference between miniaturizing trees and trying to make works of art out of them.

  • and 20 years from now, somebody will say "the nature is a great artist. The human did not touch that tree"

  • well laugh it up, i dont know shit about bonsai, just that i have a juniper i bought in a shopping and mall and i have a little pine tree seedling in a growing tray now too. glad i could make you all laugh, you know laughter is healthy.

  • geometrx....actually we are all laughing at YOU. He's a well respected German/Austrian bonsai artist who has visited the vast majority of European countries and also South Africa, Australia, Canada and the United States; he even appeared in Israel.

  • "This guy" is neither reckless nor arrogant nor ignorant nor American. I assure you no one laughs at him as he is one of the premier artists in the world.

  • Yes dumb comment Jazz... the development of all western bonsai relied on translation from Japanese in the first place

  • Why should they? Event took place in Croatia. Pall was speaking english. There was a official translator from english to croatian and vice-versa. ;-)
