  • just for info sac , the uppsala run took place in 2001, and was a sight seeing tour. buy an english man, funny to think that just over ten years, on, its started such a craze, thats now called team ghost rider. buy leaving footage of this run with a friend. you know who you are. and do you know what the worst part is.?? he never saw a penny of any royaltys from duke videos. moral you live and learn. tin tin out

  • awesome video.

  • I can do this in video games.

  • Thanks for putting without Background music, it would have been better if the video is HD.

  • @harvestech The original DVD is from 2004, so it's likely that there even isn't a HD quality recording, as HD cameras weren't as common back then as they are now. As for the background music, I would never put any shitty music on top of this, but in the 2nd part of the video you can hear the original music from the DVD. There's nothing I could do about that.

  • @czmeph theres always one!

  • szanuj nerki kolego, jeszcze się komuś przydadzą :D

  • Cop at 2:15 didn't even bother. haha

  • nice ride! you should be a proffesional race driver I think ;-)

  • Eagle eyes!

  • And when some other guy tried to do the same, everybody involved died, including innocent car passengers. Cool?

    (Upplands-Bro, July 2003)

  • 2.15 police LOL

  • Driving School 2nd day, driving 60km on a superbike in under 15min.

    Now watch this learning Movie.

  • At speeds like that, the gyroscopic effect from the spinning engine and wheels is so strong that you have to hang off the bike and pull it down just to maneuver. That's why he has to shed so much speed whenever he has to steer. Very scary.

The speedo isn't limited to 299, it's the bike. The GSXR1300 engine is restricted to 299 (186mph) at the factory. Even if you disconnect the speedo it still won't go past 299.

  • @Buggerguns

I don't think this is a stock Hayabusa.. And its certainly not a stock rider.

The original Hayabusa was unlimited and could achieve over 300kph..Which is why the manufacturers decided to limit such activity. It was getting out of hand

  • @TheDalk This bike is tuned and heavily modified. The 299 limiter is the probably the only thing that wasn't changed. Way back when this DVD first came out, this bike's mods were detailed on the ghost rider website.

Manufacturers of superbikes care only about the competition. They don't give a rat's ass about limiters or about what is "out of hand." EU regulated for a limiter and forced them to comply.

Psychos like GhostRider, however, are much more difficult to control.

  • @TheDalk He's not on a Hayabusa. Im not 100% sure what kind of bike he's on, but I've owned 2 Busa's (I still have one) and the dash layout is totally different. Thats some sort of 1000, maybe a Honda. Any current 1000 can hit the 186mph (300kph) limiter. BTW, most 1000's (and the Busa) can easily have the timing limiter defeated with a TRE chip, and at that point they'll easily clear 190mph, with the Busa nearing 200mph.

  • @fillmorenyc1 he is on a GSXR 1000, you can look it up if you want but its a badass bike.

  • @fillmorenyc1 Ghost rider has a fleet of sick bikes, pretty sure I remember this is his turbo busa. He used to post all of his specs and mods on his website so either the dash is from a model year unfamilar to you or my 9 year old memory is wrong. I've seen zx's with animated LED tachs across the whole dash. Like a stereo equalizer. Either way, my stock FZ1 is already insanely fast and I will likely never find out what it's really capable of.

  • @Buggerguns I dunno, man. I think "mmsk8man" is right, that its probably a GSXR 1000. Busa's have only had 2 dash layouts (Gen 1 & Gen2). Ghost riders dash is totally different. I just watched the vid again... in the very beginning, where he first takes off from the light, you can see that the front headlight & the bikes fairings are way different than a Busa's too. It doesnt really matter, tho. Im not about to tap my Busa's full capabilities either. The roads in NY suck. Ride safe, bro :-)

  • Are ghost rider & the stig relatives?

  • Looks like his speedo is limited to 299km/h but I think he is going a bit faster at some sections...

  • @darenzy No shit?

  • what an arsehole!you want to race do it on a track where you cant kill innocent ppl!

  • flawless.... perfect shifts (no clutch). seen this vid probably 20 times and it's still awe inspiring IMO.

  • holy SHIT! 7:16

  • @sonsprinter take a look again, cause its almost 25% of the vid that he is going at 300kmh

  • @josepca89 I'm talking about that maneuver between the cars. He slid through without slowing down man, that gave me the chills.

  • @sonsprinter in did, he is one crazy dude

  • dabogda upo!

  • Totally insane, great to watch but totally stupid

  • 2:13 omg this guy is fucking insane, I would die of a heart attack before I hit that van.

  • @BurningTirez

think he wasn't far from that :P watch his reaction after he passed the van, it took him a bit to get it back together again... usually he responses much faster than that, looks like it took him a second or two to focus again

  • @czmeph Agreed. Then he downshifted and continued with the blast ;)

  • @czmeph What's more: if you pause the video, van's driver is sticking his arm out of it. So that man was deliberately changing lanes knowing that the motorcycle was approaching him.

Would have taken less time for that stupid to drive back to his lane than complaining.

  • @estosjapos how could he so the bike approaching ? he was just driving whit is arm out of the window like many people do.

  • @estosjapos I wouldn't say the van driver deliberately changed lines, but his lack of any reaction whatsoever is alarming. He should have done something when he noticed an idiot approaching :P You know how it is, people are usually half asleep on highways, not expecting someone to come in at 250+ kph. But still, you would expect some reaction at least. I think he didn't notice the biker until he saw him ahead of himself.

  • @BurningTirez i've had that done to me on a normal road in the uk with nowhere to go, never been more thankful for carbon brakes

  • @BurningTirez i believe that to be a brown trouser moment alright!!!

  • This is nothing. I do this every morning to work on the I-405 in L.A. while drinking a Starbucks Venti quad medium foam vanilla soy milk latte.

  • I would of thought ghostrider would have had the 299 km speed limiter removed!! Gixxer power!!

  • nice

  • AWESOME .. wish we could drive like this legally in the States

  • daim think if he had a flat tire there... he would be dead before he can say oh daim :O

  • some day i hoe he die

  • woo woo, that really gets my adrenalin flowing dude! thx :D

  • This guy is totally nuts, lmao. Great stuff!

  • late for work...

  • this is what i do on free time

  • This guy is like the motobike version of the Stig, very good skills.

  • The stig only drives on circuits, the Ghost rider on the streets. Trust me ; He's way better..

  • @geert141

He maybe better than the stig on a bike but not in a car, thats not what i was trying to say anyway. And the guy who done this does race on tracks, or did anyway i belive he has been cought now.

  • ianhumphreys7

They cought Ghost Rider ? Shit .. I understand what you mean. But are you sure GR ride on tracks ?

  • damn. it literally had me leaning at some of those turns

  • omg 2.14 he allmost gets raped by that green van

  • it will be cool so see this video in HD, it will be far more enjoyable

  • thats 1 crazee cs

  • Are you Ghostrider: Yes/No

If No, Will you die if you attempt this: Yes/Yes

  • The only thing that comes close to this for lunacy and at least one near miss is the video originally by M5Rus with his his M5 vs an RS4 on a Russian Ring Road - video is way shorter. In terms of distance travelled the Lonman vs IMV films video off Gumball 2003 is the only thing that comes close at 49 miles in 17 minutes (full video not online), Top video though.......

  • Hey!

Thanks for the response. I was reluctant to upload this video again! Great to see it with better quality! Cheers!

  • Hey,

That was the point :-) Thx for comment and cheerio for you man ;-)

  • Whit kind of bike is it/Vilket märke och modell är det??

  • hayabusa

  • ok thanks ;)

  • no its a gsxr1000 hayas will do more than 299 km ;]

  • no, it's a gsx r1000

  • how can he sit on a motorcycle with ballz that big???

  • I don't get it myself

  • haha, funny :D

  • Hehe, he's just as nuts my late uncle before he got that shit killed him. Crazy buggers =D Gotta love it though!

  • He ain't dead. LOL.

He just broke the Slingerbulten record, like a month ago..

Ghostrider 6 will soon be out.

Get your facts right, next time!
