Such beautiful music, when singers took pride in showing what real talent was and also took pride in dressing up nicely. Today's singers like snoop dog and lady kaka need to look upto these singers as their role models and try to emulate them.
@music1831 Lol, my bad, they are so called singers. I am glad that there are smart people like you in this lousy world. Makes me have faith in people again.
The singer's singer--the fabulous, Miss Jo Stafford--total class, & oh, what a voice. Thank-you to You Tube, for keeping this music alive. The music of my Parents, & music I grew up to. Wolfsky9, 65 y/o
Thank you so much for this great music and harmony, The Pied Pipers were before my time but I always love the music before my time, was so beautiful. Thank you one more time for these videos.

Mom listened to Jo Stafford while hanging clothes on the line when I was a kid. I enjoyed it then and now.

1940's, a great time, great music, composers, arrangers, movies and all-around culture.
Glad I was raised during this era of WW2 and thru the 40's.
Thanks for this posting

all that is missing is frank sinatra from this rendition. He sang it so beautifully with the pied pipers then redid it on his 1961 album.
