i don't know about transformers, but the composer for this -- Hanz Zimmer -- did the music for PoTC. a lot of his music has a very distinct style and it's easy to pick out.

As far as im aware its called The Contender theme by Hans Zimmer and Steve Jablonsky, Steve is also a legend and composed the Transformers score, if you like this then its almost certain you will like that, great soundtracks include - The Autobots, The Allspark, Bumblebee, and of course the infamous Arrival to Earth. If you havnt listened to them then do a search and listen. You obviously have an appreciation for emotive/powerful music. Enjoy
