I see... Any particular color going on it? And if i saw right, on the video were you have the ford still on stock tires but lifted, did u ever get that vibration fixed bcuz i too am having the same problem with my 96' F150.
I am going to respray silver I think. I want black but its too hard to maintain. Yes I fixed the vibration, it was the driveline angles. I bought a digital magnetic level from canadian tire and was able to calculate the proper angles and shim the axle. It doesnt vibrate now. The problems of a short box reg cab eh. lol
Hopefully someday. I took the truck off the road to do body and paint and its been half completed for over a year :( Good news is I plan to build the 302 with intake, cam, heads and headers. I have a high pinion dana 44 waiting to be swapped in as well. The tires were about 300 a piece, the rims came with the truck when I bought it so I am not sure on the prices.
i have a 93 f-150, 300 inline 6, 4 gear with 3.08 gears in the diffs, im running 38" super swampers, and it performs AWESOME!!!, also, on highway i am getting roughly 18-20 mpg
real nice truck, love the sound. Is she loud cruising at 60? I have a 1984 Ford F150 with a built 302 and a four speed, headers to glass packs true dual and she dont sound near as good as yours.
sweet i have a 92 F150 reg cab short bed with a 4in lift and 33x12.5 with a 5.0 5spd. it has 205,000 miles and still going strong. these trucks put the real meaning of built ford tough. every time it snows i always pull out Chevy's. i recommend these trucks very strongly
Them body styles are my favorite of the F150 from 92-96 my uncle had once bought it brand new and put 240,000 miles on it but just got rid of it their great trucks.
I am doing body and paint this year as it was in very rough shape but lockers will come in time dont worry. I was tempted to lincoln lock this ttb since i have a spare but i know that will result in catastrophe
Any F150 that is pre-1997 and post 2005 is built ford tough. My buddy has a 94 regular cab and I just bought a 1996 extcab. I live in New Brunswick and playing in the snow with M/T tires is great fun, though stopping on ice isn't.
I'm so jealous we have had no snow in many parts of ontario grrr! I rushed to get my 95 ford f150 4x4 ready for snow and nothing. My family thought I was crazy lol checking the weather channel for snow everyday and your right they are strong trucks I love the look! Although my dream truck is a f250 powerstroke .
I have a 96 f150 with a 5.8L V8 (351), its an awesome truck and really fun in the snow, its definately a built ford tough and i wouldnt trade it for anything. Good video man
nice truck man. not a fan of straight piping tho. how do you like those tires in the snow? im building a 95 and im looking to get a good set of 35s to put on
I gots a 95 f-150. This thing has been almost totally redon by dad and me. Chassis rebuild, new core support, axel seals, some body work (not finished) and straight six with factory split manifold. Soon, a true dual exhaust is goin on that bad boy. Did I meniton that it is a rare, factory calpiso green? Ahahaha!
a 300/6 would spin any tire just as good as any stock 302, they have like 10 foot pounds less torque than a 302 but make it at a much lower rpm(like a diesel), in my experience i'd take my old f150 with a 300/6 over my f250 with a 351
do you have headers? and do you mean true duals as in a pipe coming off the manifold/header on each side and not connecting, or just a splitter coming off the cat and straight piped to the back?
A friend of mine does custom exhaust, it is 2.5" pipe custom bent with no mufflers with a single exit on each side of the truck in front of the rear wheel. I have been debating putting a x-pipe muffler on it to balance it out.
Ur right on that buddy. One more question... That microphone where u talk from inside the truck, where did u get that?

35s?
BeboAltizer 2 years ago
No... Not enough power...
canadarokzz 2 years ago
oh, how does the 302 perform with 35s in mud?
BeboAltizer 2 years ago
Those straight sixes have lots of torque, with the proper gearing (4.56) I am sure it would spin 35's just fine.
Slimline98 2 years ago
i thought that it would, but before i spend the money on the tires i wanted to be sure.
BeboAltizer 2 years ago
@Slimline98 ya i have a 96 f150 with straight 6. 5.13 gears and it turns 37s pretty well
