While I do agree with placing the avocado on a cutting board when cutting it, your method of removing the pit is not the safest method and does result in injuries to the fingers and thumb. If you noticed in your video, the tip of your knife comes dangerously close to the tip of your thumb when you twist the pit out. While you are a professional, it is best to recommend using a spoon or pit remover for the general public. I am a hand surgeon and see a lot of avocado pitting injuries.
