i want my stang to sound like yours! i read your comment and saw that you are having troubles with brenspeeds tunes. would you recommend them to somebody that doesn't have cams yet? i want to get a cai/tune from them this summer. all i have right now is pypes muffler deletes and a k&n filter.
no they are livernois stage 2 ported heads. currently the motor is broken. it ate the front two pistons and rods. so I am going with a tedsik block out of my old cobra and stroking it to a 5.0. going to run 9.5:1 compression. I plan to put a turbo on it shortly after the rebuild.
@blackandblown Were you on the stock internals? Why do u think the pistons/rods died? I have a 2012 5.0 and I'm going to be building a 90-93 lx notch soon here.
@HershaWersha I found that the crank trigger wheel was chewed up and I beleve pieces of that got in the motor. And with it all mangled explained why the car was down power.
Did you get your tune issue resolved? What rear end gears are you running? At what RPM do you begin to feel the power band? Thanks, appreciate your help as I'm ordering some cams very soon and have been looking at these.
In that video I have stock gears. I have since put in 4.10's. I did get it on a dyno and the power was way down to which later I found out why I had a rod bearing failure and the rod ended up breaking and punching a hole in my block. I have drove a friends car with the stage 2 cams and it really starts to pull at 4 grand but still had great low end.
well its pretty nice but....it constantly wont register its in park making for a fun time getting it out of park. the OD button was missing a piece and TCI says there is no piece that could be missing and to send it back. and its rather noisy. but I like the shifting action no overshifting to neutral anymore. not worth the 400 bucks for that but a used 250 dollar one would be
No I am having a tune issue. It should come right back down. Brenspeed's tune isnt working out for me the car is slower than stock. All I can say good about the tune now is it idles and gets me to work.

I feel your pain bro. A dyno-tune was the only medicine for my pains. I went through several mo tunes before bringing it to the dyno.

Seems to take a long time for your car's engine to decell back to 800 rpm . Is this a bi-product of the cams?

No I am having a tune issue. It should come right back down. Brenspeed's tune isnt working out for me the car is slower than stock. All I can say good about the tune now is it idles and gets me to work.
