Open letter and question to Mr. Scott Hahn: "Explain the Scripture found in Apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians chapter 1, verses 11-14? Since the believer is "sealed by the Holy Spirit" onto redemption! Yet, the Vatican has a doctrine that goes against this scripture? In that venial prayer must be prayed out of purgatory by indulgences, etc. The Vatican up to this date of this post has NO answer to the believers sealing and guaranteed inheritance given by Christ alone? Tradition does not add anything to scripture, it supports it. If apostolic tradition ended with the apostles, then there would have been no apostolic succession immediately and no need to clarify doctrine.

Its not my opinion, it is the teaching of the apostolic fathers who granted authority from Christ himself. I was clearly not proof texting because I combined the totality of scripture. The greater lesson of Adam and Eve is usually lost of most us due to our hypocrisy. All of life is about the greater glory of God. The greater glory of God in made manifest through His mercy. He showed that His heart was mercy by giving Adam and Eve the chance to aknowledge their sin. If it was only about disobedience, then the Lord would not have asked them what they did. Now when you read the bible it mentions the Bread/wine being true blood/body .This is not symbolic.Jesus says it is his true presence, so does Paul. Earliest Christians describe it as true presence. Letters from the enemies of Christians from that time say early Christians partaking in a 'Sacrament' meal after worship each week. Again Catholic.

dude, only God can choose if the faith of Man is a life-giving or a damning reward at the Judgement. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that it is the christian community "most fully in communion with God". Even scripture teaches that faith and works in a God-filled life is what earns us the reward of eternal life and salvation.
