In a boxing match a world class mma fighters would get fucked every time, in an mma fight a world class boxer would prob get fucked if it went to the floor but the mma guy has to take his shots first then get him down. Its 2 different sports but i would say boxers are fitter and at a greater athletic capacity than mma ufc fighters. It takes a lot more to become a world champ at boxing than at ufc mma. Well unless your Amir Khan. then its a good promoter. ooops.

truth is...ANY MMA fighter can be great after training for 2 years...even less.... A boxer could switch to mma...and be a champ if he trained well and had skills...But to be a Champion Boxer...training in boxing for only 2 years?...That would NEVER EVER Happen....Waaaay to much to learn.....an MMA fighter Could NEVER switch to Pro Boxing and Be Great with out MANY MANY YEARS of practice.... actually there is 2 in the ufc alone..who were not very good at boxing that are doing quite well for themselves in mma....one is that little...bald black guy...i cant remember his name right now though..but i will look it up... and...its not the stances your training in boxing...its the muscle memory...the pivoting when you punch...the weight shifting.....
