  • Used to love hearing this song (and Kiss Me) at a club in Smethwick, can't remember the name of the place, was more like a big pub than a club. Always wondered why so many people had never heard of it, never realised it was mainly big in the West Mids.

  • Oh my god - never mind the poor video quality, because the content was PURE unadulterated quality!

This has enriched my life more than any other YT clip.

I want to participate in a sequel but maybe not topless coz I'm a girly - and just got banned from myspace for a hint of a nip thru a fishnet bodystocking,

  • been there done that

  • God, this brings back some memories. The Barn in Worcester on a Saturday night. I'll never figure out how we always got in there, since we were all 16, but saying "21" in a deep voice seemed to fool the bouncers.

  • By the way, looking at how this kid dresses and dances and his pokey little semi-detached house he must be from Chelmsley Wood.

I live in Canada now and have never come across anyone like those off "The wood"

  • excuse em moi. i COME from Chelmsley wood! theres nothing wrong with us!

  • what a twatty thing to say

  • I'm a cockney and I knew it from John Peel / Annie Nightgale / Janice Long radio shows in the eighties.

  • They used to play this song at Starbase in Torquay when I was about 14. Have still got the original 12" Top song, and im not from the West Midlands!

Did you guys know exposure rock cafe is back open fridat and sat???

  • A Brummie tune for sure. I usually need about ten feet of dancing space for this song as I pogo around so much. They used to play it at Eddies so much in the 90s. One of those songs that is guaranteed to get you dancing. Last year when my friend & I danced to this in a pub we got asked afterwards if we were Irish dancers! :D
