What I've seen, iranians live pretty good life in teheran. even better than people in moscow. Also iranians are wealthier than most people in east european countries.

slovenia was like a big farmland 20 years ago. now it's totaly different. and so is iran. teheran totaly modernized, so did other iranian cities. eventualy modernization will force religion from the government - because more people will will want more freedom, and souch people will vote for that.
Iran has a fuel shortage and imports fuel itself how can it send fuel to Iraq? Reminds me of the money Iran sends to Hamas and Hezbollah when Iranians live in poverty and have no healthcare.
Iran has cut fuel to limited rations 50 times since revolution. Eeveryone knows that Iran's refinery capacity is far below it's fuel demand. Iran is now buying fuel from Venezuela.
I didn't say "All Iranians live in poverty". about 80% live below comfort-level, and 30% live is poverty.
By poverty I don't mean sleeping on the sidewalk. I mean not affording meat, clothing, car, not owning homes, low income under 200,000 toman/month.
Iran has plenty(not planety) of oil but because of low number of refineries Iran has to send the oil to other countries like Venezuela, have it refined and turned into automobile fuel, then buy the fuel back from Venezuela. Comprende?
