i wish they would of made a full actual sequal to mario rpg legend of the seven stars, paper mario's and the mario&luigi's are good, but they cant even touch the epicness of legend of the seven stars

Yeah, I can't beleive it's been 12 years since the releace of this game. I remember getting it when it first came out! I'm still hoping for a direct sequel, this game has a great story line. Also the music is great haha

Yeah, that's why I said I am hoping for a Direct sequel. The first Paper Mario was suppsoed to be "Mario RPG 2" but if they can't use some of the same original characters from "Legend of the Seven Stars" it wouldn't make too much sense.

Let's hope some day it happens though haha

Yep, well, technically, a true sequel hasn't been made yet at all. I'm just saying that the original idea for Paper Mario was to be a sequel to Mario RPG, but the idea was scrapped.

They would need to team up with Square again to use RPG's original characters. (Geno, Mallow, Booster, Frogfucious, ect.) but since Square is Square-Enix now, it doesn't look like a true sequel to Mario RPG will happen in the foreseeable future.

Square probably would have, but since they're Square-Enix now its a different company (and not as cool). Yeah it would have been cool if Geno was in a Smash Bros. game. I hope Nintendo can use him again someday.

Yeah, their are a lot of things in Super Mario RPG, that would be a great fit for the Smash Bros. series but they can't do it without the consent of Square-Enix. Same reason why Geno couldn't be in the game...

I loved this game, and this song must have been the most catchy in the entire game. It's the only place where I ever found myself not playing the game and humming along with the music instead. Great rendition/recreation of the song!
