Lordz did an outstanding job on this mod. when i first saw this trailer my jaw droped. i downloaded some time after it was released but i still play it to this day. it is very well done and the trailer makes me want to take a time machine and be there fighting (but i guess killin Haji with an M4 will have to do)

@mustang9102 graphic doesn´t matter.... its only a nice bonus if the gameplay is good. Noone want to play a Game with Crysis graphic and the whole game is crap like C&C4. Starcraft 1 and Stronghold are both Games with bad graphic, but the Games are so much better than Stronghold 2 and Starcraft 2.

i remember playing napoleonic total war 1 back in the day before empire total war, but now with napoleon: total war (if your system can run it) it obviously creams this. however, good fucking effort on the modders who created this. other than some bugs (too be expeted in a modded game), i had alot of fun playing napoleonic 1.

No one would want to mod Empire, its full of bugs and CA have abandoned updating it. They have locked down the coding making it practically un-modable anyways, so I don't know why anyone would think that CA are mod friendly.

pre ETW they were mod friendly, but since usage of Steam is compulsory with ETW, and since steam forces you to update your version of the game so often, the mod comunity for that game(there was a good mod community for a little while) have totally given up, since they have to completely redo the mods every time an update comes out. as far as the new one, Napoleon total war, im definatly not buying it until its less then $20. it will probly be the same unpolished turd that ETW was.

Loved it, still have it installed to play when i get frustrated with ETW,, much better AI,,

first time i played ETW i desperately tried to find how to group 4 regiments to one square when i realized i tried to play this mod,, first thing i thought was retarded that you only could make small tiny squares with one group in ETW,, modding ETW it to have more soldiers helped the estetics somewhat,, this mod with its RTW AI and ETW graphics that would have been a treat it really kept you on your toes

that is such a BAD square formation.... the first rank was on it's knees with bayonets to avoid the cavalry charging... or then it's like 4 regiments in a square, making no use at all excepting for keeping probably from 1 to 3 regiments out of battle. I hope that gets to be repaired

some of that stuff isn't in the game, though. theres no wagons and when you shoot cavalry the rider doesn't fall off and the horse moves on(it'd be cool if they did but they don't)

Well, it is mainly a multiplayer one. You can play custom battles against the AI and one historical battle against them. The rest is multiplayer. I find that the custom battles are still fun but yeah, it would have been better with a campaign.

Got to remember though that it is extreemly hard to make a campaign and would have taken ages.
