I have a dual-boot XP and 7 on my K40IN,

XP for gaming and 7 for everything else..

XP gives me more FPS when gaming than on 7.

when you didnt take the extra textures, you get 30 fps then you didnt lag anytime and have a good qulaity! one question, do you play with mousepad,or do you play with mouse (sry for bad english im german)

I have Asus K50IN and im running Windows 7. In your description I saw it sais you have Pent. Dual Core T4200 2.0GHz. I have Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 2.1GHz .

Cause ASUS sell three configurations of ths laptop. All are the same but in processor (Celeron T1900, Pentium T4200/4300 or C2D T6500/6600)

I have the same notebook and i have to admit that it is an impressive and with a lot of power!I played MW 2 on my Asus K50IN-It work perfect with no lag.Now i am playing World at War in multiplayer and i have to say it is really cool!No LAG NO nothing!Smoth as clean ASS! ;)

??? what is that for a question ... did you watch this video ... than you would know ... I have the same notebook as you with the same processor the T4300 which is a 2.10ghz one ... in this video the guy runs it on a 2.00 t4200 ... I guess that should answer your question ... as you can see in this video how it preforms ...

if k40in has the same / almost the same configuration, then no problem. the game will run very good. if you're not a demnading gamer, you can turn shadows off and get even more fps... but an average of 21 thats for sure
