Yes Norway is the richest country in Nordic region. Sweden is just a declining country with growing unemployment and many refugees they not are able to take care of. Mostly of swedish industry is owned by foreigners, Norway do things better than Sweden YES. Why is it ranked as the best place to live then? Swedish crown is worthless and incometax is higher, swedish sallaries are 25% less compared with Norway. It's sad to see that Norways neighbourcountry is so "Svartsjuka" :)

Norway got a larger economy than Sweden in total (Norway is Nordic region largest economy), and half of the swedish population, if you use a calculator you will quick see who can afford most between those 2 countries. Based on population it is taken in same amount of refugees in Norway as in Sweden and in any other western European country. It's sad to see how all these refugees are suffering under terrible living conditions in malmö, the whole city looks like a slum, looks more like a dump

Its kinda funny that you mention war-history. Sweden has a much greater history in warfare than Norway. they dominated almost the whole nordic region and a big part of Eastern-Europe at the same time, for many years.

"svenne " The Russian bear also threw the " svenne " out of Finland in 1809, and invaded large parts of Northern sweden. Swedes succeded to invade Norway in 1814, but it was to late, since the Norwegians already had an constitution and the union ended after only 89 years

Yes..that's correct that Norway is second richest country in the world regarding GDP pr capita because Luxembourg got higher GDP pr capita.
Now in 2009 Norways total economy is larger than Sweden..and that means that Norways GDP pr capita is over 50% more than Swedens, since they got the double population of Norway.
Norway is ranked by UN (HDI ranking list) as the best country to live, in the entire world.
Norway also got Europes lowest unemployment rate

before Sweden became poor in the 80ies, they shopped a lot in Norway. Especially meat, sugar, tobacco and many other things. Regarding bordershipping, it's quite long way to drive from Whealty western Norway and all the way to Sweden, it's then better to shop in UK.
80% of the shops selling cheap junkfood at swedish side of the border are Norwegian owned...so it's not correct what you say...they end up in the store owners pockets which are Norwegian :)

Haha, ye the drive from "wealthy western Norway" to Sweden is huge... Unless you live by the border, but who on earth would want to do that? It is like California, with crazy Swedes trying to escape over for our good jobs. Most of them even make it and end up as dayshiftmanager in our snowboard parks!
Also the Evil Monarchy of Sweden tax alot, so our shopkeepers don't get to scam the country and actually have to pay something back to the local community. Talk about taking away peoples liberty!

we have as much imigrants as sweden do !!, and i have been reading some of the things that you have written erlier, you have just written those thing because you want sweden to be best, but face the facts, norway is richer and better in almost every way, im not saying sweden is a bad counrty, just not as good as norway, forstår du sötabror : )

Blev dock lite förvånad över att det var ett norge-sverige bråk, annars brukar danskar och svenskar kivas och finskar hata mot svenskar(O_o) . Jag trodde vi var vänner Norge...

norge har sterkest bånd med sverige og danmark. men det finns alltid idioter, overalt.
føler meg nesten like hjemme i sverige og i danmark som i norge.
og det IQ-trollet som skrev at sverige ikke var en stormakt på grunn av norge har tydeligvis aldri lest en historiebok.. norge har alltid vært lillebror (vel hvertfall etter vikingtiden eller da svartedøden kom).
