what i heard today on the madien voyage to santa fe with the govenor, and at the ribbon cutting, NM hopes to extend the line from el paso to denver colorado. the state of nm owns the all tracks (sidings, spurs everything and the santa fe southern) all the way to the NM/CO Border.
