  • Leeches are not suppose to help the crap out of you! They suck on your blood!!!

  • In Soviet Russia worm eats you,,

  • Nasty

  • Aaaaaaaahw! Ow, how barbaric! Oh no! Don't do it!

  • LEECHEZ!!

  • I feel itchy just looking at them...

  • cure them of what dumbshit

  • They don't just use these in Russia, but in the US too. My dad does reconstructive surgery and uses leeches to help reestablish blood supply when he has to reattach a body part like an ear or finger that has been cut off. When I was in first grade I brought some to class for show and tell.

  • One good spliff

  • I want a Leech, I've been wanting to get one for a while, hard thing is to convince my parents to allow me to have one, so I'll show em all the positif things of a leech to convince them xD

  • well I thought they'd get infected or something. I thought they can transfer dirty stuff to you.. ? O~O

  • @RicaWinter08 Yes you can, that why these people don't go to a river and catch random leechesthey breed their own leeches to avoid diseases.

  • in my county people use extract oil from leech to make pen*s become larger and much better in bed...never tried so i dont know either its true or not...and i also dont know either there is any scientific explaination...

  • 0:47 *falls off chair* x_x

  • Those leeches would look better fried with some herbs on em. Just saying.

  • @ShivsyMe LMAOOOO...that made me laugh

  • Ouch

  • In medival times people thought leeches only drank the dirty blood so people used it as a cleanser.

  • This is interesting. :D The only bugs iv ever knew about being good for you is maggots & how they help with removing dead flesh in burnt victim cases. [<-Watches to much house]

  • Maggots and Leaches are really good when used properly for the right reason. Their usefulness is highly limited though, and only certain circumstances call for such measures.

  • Leeches do help you its just that people think its taboo and disgusting. Thats why most Doctors reject it.

  • nothing new in this, in the past was used to remove blood from a patient as part of a process to "balance" the "humors".

Today they provide an effective means to reduce blood coagulation, relieve venous pressure from pooling blood and in reconstructive surgery to stimulate circulation in reattachment operations for organs with critical blood flow. For some can be nasty but it's effective and in the end that's what it counts :)

  • In Soviet Russia, leeches eat you!

P.S. I am not using any raisim towards Russia. I am a Russian myself.

  • can they also a massive boner down?

  • no, i'd rather not...

  • i heard ancient people did this

  • What if I have erectile dysfunction.

  • umm oull get a leechjob?

  • ROFLMAO! disgusting shit

  • retarted

  • disgusting...

  • This has been done forever... like many many many many many lonnnnnng years. So this really isn't news. But it's still interesting to see this kind of thing.

  • That's why the captions said medicinal 'comeback'. Can't wait to see a video on maggots.

  • @lavinder11 Maggots are actually used for cleaning large, infected wounds. They only eat dead, rotting flesh, leaving healthy tissue alone so it can heal [:

  • Yah, I was listening to an ex-MD talking about maggots two days ago. I'd like to see these 'natural' remedies being used more often these days.

  • in russia, leeches help you

  • Damn Commercials... Unsubbed...

  • Get Adblock plus for Mozilla.

  • @Havokreator Add filter */ads/* and *banner*

  • how does LEECH SHAMPOO help? lol looks like those people found a way to make easy money off of idiots :P

  • desparate people will buy/try anything

  • Won't this spread blood diseases?

  • No, they are 100% safe.. we russians use this method for a really long time now :)

  • @denisbarinovx not very convincing...

  • best way to kill a boner

  • @vap0re0n wow

  • Comment removed

  • Wow....so we didn't learn our lesson from the middle ages? lol

  • wow this isnt new news... the clinic i went to as a child had them already......... i thought this was pretty common...

  • Bleh..

  • blood sucking leeches...with vodka? :D

  • okay but here they aren't really doing anything besides spreading diseases.

  • They do not use just any leeches, which may cary diseases, I believe medical leeches are grown under lab conditions, it is common sense.

  • Eww...

  • weird

  • urg :S

  • doctors in the US also use them to drain excess blood from re-attached limbs/fingers and stuff

  • Doctors are using maggots now too, they clean wounds by eating dead tissue.

  • ... Doctors still use leeches as a form of cleaning dirty blood... As leeches do not eat dead tissue, yes doctors do use them.

  • nasty
