  • @take8520 多分ドゥギーホワイト

  • インギーのジェットトゥジェットのリフは、ここからインスピレーションをえたんだろうな。クリソツw

  • Sounds like a twist in the tale by deep purple!

  • Thanks for posting; this is THE CURE for 80s disco shite...

  • Wonder what it must have been like being part of a group whose founding member is as old, or older than, your own dad.

  • 途中から声きもちわるい!

  • 3:14 a female voice sounds on the background but I cannot understand what is saying

  • The singer sucks ass..

  • Agree

  • bukbror: I Agree

  • sound like Alcatrazz ... JET TO JET

  • @krpalospo Spotlight Kid doesn't sound like Jet To Jet.

Jet To Jet sounds like Spotlight Kid!

  • @lw48wp4 u are right.Yngwie Malmsteen respect Ritchie Blackmore.and I think Jet to jet is like a tribute to Ritchie.

  • Not Ritchie's best performance... he misses a bunch of notes on the solo. Still extremely enjoyable to watch one of the best live! Thanks for the video.

    Who's the singer?

  • @elchafa doogie white

  • Good job but, sadly enough, all this is is another show of how Ian Gillan and Ritchie Blackmore can't put aside personal hatred of each other for the betterment of Deep Purple. All that was gained from this period is redoing old material.

  • 2:30 Look at Ritchie's face after this silly introduction.. good he didn't get too mad and kept playing

  • This has got to be the best Rainbow song?

  • @DontTalkToStrangers1

the best song for me is kill the king, los in hollywood, love no friend, danger zone.......

  • Ritchie's guitar playing makes me feel like I can fly

  • richies guitar playing makes me feel like I can fiy.

  • yeah jet to jet good eyelol ygnwie as well go figure two greats anyway

  • Ritchie rulezzzzz

  • 3:56 hear there is a scary voice (lol)

  • Jet to Jet came out in '83. Spotlight Kid came out in '81. NEXT!

  • on the audio track i can hear another song at 3:14 to 4:40.......!!!!!!!!

  • @tariksba yeah you're right man and thats sucks because i can't get crazy with the song

  • great song, but with Joe Lynn Turner.

  • Super!!!

  • リッチーのソロらへんで、バックにまったく別の音楽が流れてる!ww

  • The guitar solo is a Finnish folk melody, Säkkijärven Polkka. Very popular with harmonica players.

  • Oh thats cool thanks for the info

    i love this melody

  • @Muinaismuisto can u tell me exactly which one??? I searchedfor Säkkijärven Polkka and I found a melody that sounds in the same style but not quite the same song

  • the 200% most cool song of rainbow!

  • the second voice made me shit my pants man!!!!!!!

  • puaajjj!!!!

  • yes it is some more voice after the solo....it´s kind of creepy...

  • Is´t me or there is 2 theme on the video?, because i hear another voice (of a woman) singing.

  • I just watched a version of this from JFMetal that must be from the Straight Between the Eyes Tour that clearly has at least one female backup vocalist so perhaps on this version the female voice is a backup either offstage or not shown during the video.

  • thx bro

  • on this vid and this concert Candice Blackmore was doing backing vocal who was then blackmores girlfreind or fiance

  • Despite of this I heard that it was just Over The Rainbow mistakenly turned on. The band used this song during opening and ending of the concerts

  • awesome!

  • amazing riff

  • jet to jet

  • @raulsuazo If I had to bet I'd say "Jet to Jet" rips off this song. Not the other way around.

  • @zaqwert777 Yes, specially if you consider Malmsteen is a huge fan of Blackmore´s work

  • @raulsuazo

jet to jet is copied from this song. Spotlight kid was recorded 2-3 years before Jet to jet

  • @raulsuazo Yeah, Malmsteen ripped off this song when he did Jet to Jet.

  • @raulsuazo yeah,but written 2 years before

  • リッチーのギターの音いいですね

  • im kid too

  • amazing guitar solo!!!

  • I'm in love with the spotlight

  • Spotlight Kid motherfuckers~!!!

  • Heh . i just love the theme at the start

  • k i gotta know, WHAT KIND OF DAMN STRATOCASTER IS HE USING!!!!!

  • He's got two favourite Strats, both just pretty cruddy late 70s ones he's customised, scalloping the fretboard. The one he was most often seen with had Seymour Duncan SSL4 Quarter Pounder pickups fitted, but this one's fitted with Fender-Lace Sensors.

  • You're right about most of that but there's more to what he's done with the fretboard than what you said. He scalloped the top 3 strings up to the 7th fret just lightly and the bottom 3 strings he has extremely lightly scalloped up the the 7th. And beyond the 7th he has them alot deeper but the same sort of setup with the top and bottom 3 strings. That's at least what I encountered when I played the Ritchie Blackmore signature strat. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • the higher frets are lighter scalloped than the lower frets..and the low strongs (EAD) are scalloped heavier than the high strings (GBE)

  • Damn. That's what I meant. Haha Thanks!

  • It's called a progressive scallop, and the reason he didnt scallop it as much at the first couple frets is because scalloping is bad for chording since if u oush harder one string it will make a different sound. But the scallop varies from guitarist to guitarist. If you look at yngwies guitar, he's got it completely scalloped but he never uses chords, and ritchie blackmore doesnt really use any chords past the first couple of frets.

  • k i gotta know, WHAT KIND OF DAMN STRATOCASTER IS HE USING!!!!!

  • does a great job singing it but not as good as joe lynn turner. cant beat him and joe is georgous as well.

  • i totalli agree. good man

  • I like the sound of the guitar because there is not distortion, just sligh overdrive...good players do not need distortion...

    excellent sound!+++

  • I love Ritchie's Stratocaster sound because he doesnt use Distortion....good players do not need big amount of distortion...

    Excellent sound++++

  • Long live Rainbow

  • yesthis was the last rainbow run befoe ritchie stopped plaing hard rock about 98 or so. Doogie is a good singer did a great version of temple of the king

  • Is that right Doogie White on vocals ? Hes awesome!

  • Awesome display of guitar virtuoso. Blackmore can still shred his strat as fast as ever if he really wants to...
