Try adding a few cubes of stock, some celery, thyme and rosemary and simmer for a few. If too thin thicken with a little water and flour. S&P also.

So you get moose nose and potatoes and Charlie gets moose snot soup, I've never tried this but just a suggestion, when your ready to get the hair off, wouldn't scraping work better? We do something similar with hogs, take a 55 gal drum put in in an inclined fire pit, boil the hog or about 30 mins then scrape the hair off. Tie em to a rod and roast him over the fire. May not work completely with a 1000lb moose, but the scraping still applies.

I would have never thought of Moose Nose with carrots and potatoes, very interesting. I see alot of videos from people here who have the expensive Knife, Gun or whatever and that is the only thing to have or you are a lower class citizen.
