  • Is this legal in bjj competitions?

  • This is better, no this is better, no this is better, listen to you fucking retards. You put any martial arts in the hands of the right person its effective, alot of you dumbshits forget that in a streefight ( i bounced for 2 years) any training whatever that may be mma, boxing, krav magna, bla bla bla bla goes out the window when its not all rules, and staged practice sessions where the person willingly gives you their arm to break. Dont matter what you know ANYONE can get knocked out.

  • @Crimescene26 Your right, anyone can get knocked out, but its really hard for a good MMA fighters who knows how to block, dodge, and counter, to get knocked out. Are you kidding me? Besides weapons, MMA fights are usually worse and harder than your average club fight.

  • Shinya Aoki vs. Keith Wisniewski

  • should be illegal in MMA, this move give sno time to tap. I believe aoki broke someone's arm in this manner.

  • @caltraskoo He did, We used this move often & the momentum of your body turning snaps the elbow. This is a self defense move & if done quickly? no tap, just a crack. Extremely effective, you can slow it down a touch & direct the opponent to the ground as well without the break.

To use this is competition... well if you eliminate this you have to get rid of ankle locks too because Imanari has shredded more knees then just about anyone in the sport, by the time they tap its too late

  • Is this move legal in the UFC or Strikeforce?

  • I have a feint remembrance of aoki doing this in a real fight accept the guys forearm was in a 90 degree angle going the same way hes pulling

  • nasty, nasty move. this move is best left for someone you really don't like and don't want to ever train with again.

  • Subtitles please. lol

  • this is waki gatame.

    illegal in judo

  • /watch?v=Q_718dOW09k

  • @shurikenxhunterv2 I bet you would take him seriously with those rainbow pants wrapped around your neck in a deep triangle choke.

  • @KilroyWasHere444 u sound mad

  • @murderousintent no,i'm smiling because of my witty rebuttal actually.

  • @KilroyWasHere444 he already said he takes him seriously with his rainbow pants on, so you're not witty, you're an idiot.

  • @gleader uh.....blow me?

  • @KilroyWasHere444 You're so witty.

  • This move is too brutal for me e_e

  • In one of Shynia Aoki HL videos I sow this move and broken arm. Still not serios???

  • this looks like a good gun defense xD

  • all you dudes talking about krap magna suck! i havent seen one instance where a krap magna guy has actually fought and won. all i see is a bunch of set up demos of krap magna. until you fags have real footage of an actual fight your krap magna techniches are just a theory.

  • Look at his fight Vs Keith Wisniewski where he does this and breaks a dude's arm. Just punch in "Shinya Aoki Vs Keith Wisniewski" into the YouTube search bar. In the right situation, it works a treat.

  • of this, the krav magra fighter can drop you in a heartbeat. be sure to wear a cup too because krav magra loves to do groin strikes. and im sure if an mma fighters puts a krav magra guy on his back, its all over but the first rule of street fighting is never go to the ground. you always assume there is more than 1 opponent. multiple opponents and weapons, krav magra wins. both have good points and depends on the circumstance.

  • fight how you train, and in krav magra they do alot of strikes that mma fighters do not train for or have to worry about such as eye gouges, head butts, groin strikes.believe me, all it takes is one of those strikes to drop someone. but special forces is right about mma fighters having the strength and speed advantage. thats why i have a set of moves for mma and a modified set of moves for street defense. if you keep this in mind mma fighters can have the advantage. but if you do not be mindful

  • i do mma and traditional martial arts and i can say that it is a double edged sword. in some situations, tad martial arts are better. in others, mma is better suited. say you are at a bar and someone has a broken bottle, pool cue, trad is much better. you cannot trear a weapon like it is someone punching you. totally diffrent techniques.i often hear that mma fighters will break rules in a street fight as well but you gotta remember, when you get in a real fight and the adrenaline is flowing, you

  • @specialforces69 Thats a very good point that I overlooked. I also train MMA in Cincinnati at JG MMA so I should have kept that in mind.

  • @specialforces69 you just have to remember, there is a difference between the sport of mixed martial arts and self defense. Sure, a good MMA fighter is probably gonna win most street fights, just not against someone versed in something like Krav Maga.

  • @specialforces69 MMA does not lack the things you state. Competition mma does...because there are rules against permanently maiming or killling your opponent. The is no such martial art called mma. As you know (i hope you do), mma is the practice of any martial art/fighting styles one deems neccesary to be well- rounded. There are no particular fighting styles that one must practice/study to become a mma fighter. Many mma fughters know how to kill or maim people but do not do so in the ring.

  • I'm implying that it takes ALOT of skill to use bombs, because if you do it wrong... You will kill yourself and or all your friends... >.>

  • I get it, but knife fighting and weapon fighting are martial arts >.>

Especially bombs, you MIGHT want some training when dealing with bombs haha

  • I'm not saying don't practice... But I am saying that humans are better than animals at fighting because we can use things, animals are born with teeth and claws ect. We are born with hands. While we CAN attack with our body, why would we focus SO much on it when it's hardly practical... How many times do you think Machida (My favorite) has used his skills outside the gym??? How many people in war died by the triangle choke VS How many died by a sword or a gun... Come on... Lets be HONEST...

  • Krav Maga guy has trained for real fighting and will think to pick up the closest chair and beat the MMA guy who's mind goes to boxing right away... There's a difference...

  • It Looks like a variation of Waki gatame.

  • I never trained Aikido in my life, I don't like Aikido, I think it has good moves, like this one, but I also think a style that has ZERO offense and only weird stand up locks is very hard to do, if not immpossible. But I like many of it's techniques, especially in the clinch, like when Aoki pulled that move out of no where. I use wrist locks alot in the clinch that are moves in aikido, aikido just uses them in fancy ways that look cool.

  • @GuamKomudo

Yes. A lot of different arts have good moves. A lot of stuff is just untested in a real meaningful way like MMA competition.

  • MMA is not very realistic... It's a duel of skill, not a battle for your life. You want to see a real life martial art look into some Israel Krav Maga or something. Rolling on the ground for 3 5 minute rounds is not real at all. Someone trying to stab you with a knife and you having a split second to block it and run away or pick up a chair or something is more realistic. Getting away from 3 guys with sticks. Or how fast can you pull out your pistol. THAT is real, MMA is just a duel of glory...

  • @GuamKomudo israel is full of pussys....just abunch of cheap shots, thats about it

  • Yeah... How do you cheap shot your way out of EVERY country around you trying to kill you... They're badass, get over it. The BIBLE even says so LOL

  • @GuamKomudo You... sound very very very gay.

  • This move is popular in Aikido, aikido works, just not as fancy as they show it in demos. You guys saw Aoki break the guys arm with this move right? THAT is what happens when you don't flip in a aikido move... That is what it really looks like, not fancy, brutal =)

  • i just seen it...had to see it to believe it...cause that looks like a stupid move until u see him dislocate his elbow!..

  • Anyone who says something doesn't work is a fool these are movements that have been being modified and adjusted to work since the acient olympic games... Do you think you know better then thousands of years of practice study and innovation?

  • I will break many arms with this technique...

    *evil laugh*

  • Crazy that it is a pretty brutal break with no real stability that offers an opportunity to tap.

  • Is this a Judo technique? it works pretty well

  • @redcapKO yeah, its called a waki gatami

  • this is who they should have bought to the ufc not gomi , his fight was terrible

  • @kevsenior gomi didnt look that bad against florian.

  • why do ppl talk like mma and the STREET are worlds apart,if u can bang you can fuckin bang ,simples!ppl are like yeh so wat about mma i'd hit him with a bat, bite, eye gauge ,kick him in the balls!MMA fighters can do this too you know dickheads just we already have an arsenal that will ruin you anyways !peace,to all the muppets who dont take part, just observe and talk a good fight!

  • Aoki is an arm breakin' FIEND! Can't think of another MMA fighter who's snapped more elbows in the ring.

  • @Doroboneko Like you say... In the ring

  • @Doroboneko brock lesner

  • @Doroboneko Only reason Aoki's been snapping arms an shit is cus he's fighting cans, see how well he did in the US... yeah not so well.

  • @sktigerjs Cans? yes he snapped the cans arms, but hes won against decent American and Brazilian and even Japanese competition. Good names hes won against are.

Rob McCollough, Rich Clementi, Lyle Beerhom, Eddie Alvares, Joachin Hansen, Geisias Calvacante, George Sotripulous. Those are very good MMA fighters, if you don't think those MMA fighters are worth anything then you have no respect for the sport.

  • It was used in the ring. he broke Keith Wisniewski's arm with it. In your defense, it was broken horribly well.

  • hehe shiya aoki was a police officer this is a text book arrest technique for police officers hehehe he used it in MMA effective on the street and the sport....

  • hes not choking up high enough on the arm. his elbow was never locked out wtf? easy way to slip this weak "arm lock". simply swing in front of him facing him. right arm grabs his left leg drive through him pushing with your locked arm.

  • He won one of is fights with this exact move, and broke the guys arm.

  • @juliealyvia watch any aoki highlight reel and you'll see this breaking an arm in real life.

  • @juliealyvia if you do it fast enough it can break the arm (as Aoki did against Wisniewski). And you can transition to a standard armbar if you can retain control of the wrist.

  • simply do it fast enough to breake the arm, as Aoki did

  • yup against keith wisniewski

  • Mate, watch the fight where he does this move, it's brutal, you see adn hear the guys arms just snap. S'all in the hips!

  • This guy Aoki was Amazing!!!!!

  • Looks great. Does Aoki have an Instructional Series by any chance?

  • umm.. dude.

  • this is the best thing to do when being over hook..

  • japonês um golpe esse adversário golpe no Claro que.

  • I believe he broke a guy's arm with it in a fight. It's a lot faster when done in "real life."

  • Yeah, that was the fight with Keith Wisniewski, although I think I remember hearing it was just a dislocated elbow, and not actually a broken arm.

    Still a nice technique.

  • @xScotty87x

    yeah just a dislocation...

  • @xScotty87x It broke at the forearm You can see it in the video if you look close enough. I'm afraid to try this on my sparring partners lmao.

  • not the same move, but once that look like that but the arm of the opponent is on your back so if you make a twist with your body, crack,

  • yeah I agree... I really don't think the move he used on Winsniewski was the same as this but more of a judo throw variation

  • It's the same move, he just did it more forcefully in the fight, and is doing it slow to demonsrate in the video.

  • @ThomasRiekki Yes. Yes he did.. it was awesome and so fast that he didn't even realize that he had broken the guys arm.

  • slick transition to an armbar....nice

  • yeah that was just nasty when he nearly ripped that guys arm off

  • hell yeah. I remember this. This is how he broke that one guy's arm. That fight made me love Aoki.

  • yaaaah.. he fuxed that guy up.. if u pause it u can see his arm broken backwards 90 degrees ALAKBAR

  • Hmmm...não sei se isso realmente funciona. Mas vou tentar e postar aqui se é "bão memo".

  • Claro que funciona é um golpe clássico, esse japonês já quebrou o braço de um adversário com esse golpe no MMA.
