No because the thing that connects with the body of the guitar is different in gh3 it was like metal touching to get it connected now its like a port that connects it. it wont work its to different.

Y do people get mad when there is like 3 things wrong that are small. All games have their glitches, fuck ups, and crashes. Then 2 weeks later they will normally get updated. You may have to pay a couple more dollars but they are still good.(except for rock band 2 drums. DONT BUY!!) Over all the games have their flaws.

i have had the rock band drum kit and it so so crap the pads keep snaping in half the drum pedal has snaped in half its noisy and i could go on forever overall crap quality and you pay £70($140) for them each in th uk not good harmonicks

For anyone who's used the instruments for both games, which is better? I have both games, but i'm waiting to see which drum set & 2nd guitar controller to buy. I know about the risk of getting a broken kit, so don't waste your time on that stuff. Just from the way they feel to play, which do you prefer. thanks in advance

I got this for the PS3. The guitar rocks but my drum set is fucked also. The red pad for mine requires you to hit it like a gorilla to register. When I called Activision I was on hold for a half hour. I called back later in the day and the line was busy!!! How can their line be busy?
