Hey, here's a frakking idea. How about- We stop complaining about what happens with the series, listen to other people commenting on the video, (i.e. jdeAth100) because he's right. Chronologically, the games will go 5>3>1>4>2. And besides, giving Capcom the middle finger? You think they care? Ive talked to my friend who works in the game industry and that is dante but before 3 so a prequel to a prequel i guess also his "devil trigger" turns his hair white so he looks more like the dante we have come to appreciate and taking a look at some of the game play it looks like it could keep the same hack n slash n shoot craziness DMC is known for
pretty sure thats not dante.. Im pretty sure dante was the one telling the story and Vergil is the black haired guy. Because dante doesnt have sword like that, and Dante is alot bigger and older looking.. Unless this is a prequel saying that there viewing Dante's early years when he was young.. but theres no way thats actually dante.. Put up pictures of them both and compare. Not a single facial resemblence. I bet Dante is just telling the story

Objects on games such as Battlefield 3 disappear at long distances, do you know how frustrating it is trying to line up on a tank coming in with a jet when it disappears cause you are too far? besides all of the free mods, maps, and content I get on PC idk why I would want to buy a 360 other than all my tool friends bought one.

I understand why people are upset about the new Dante look, but honestly, this is a total reboot that isn't connected to the other games at all. It's a different universe so its a different Dante. Personally, If I'm going to pay $60 for a new game, I want it to feel like a new game, rather than an expansion with updated graphics.
This game is confirmed by Capcom not to be part of the DMC official canon, so people like me who don't like this drastic redesign of gameplay and style/looks should be expecting an actual Devil May Cry in a year or two. If I wasn't such a fanboy of the original DMC I might've picked up this game, but in my opinion they should just take off the DMC logo, they might gain more customers.

This is a seperate reality and timeline, and the Dante of old games is in another one. I guess that kind of plays into being pulled into Limbo, but the game comes out some time next year, and as a veteran and someone whos been there since 3 playing DmC1 to 4 I'm looking forward to it. I understand why people are upset about the new Dante look, but honestly, this is a total reboot that isn't connected to the other games at all. It's a different universe so its a different Dante. Personally, If I'm going to pay $60 for a new game, I want it to feel like a new game, rather than an expansion with updated graphics.

This game is confirmed by Capcom not to be part of the DMC official canon, so people like me who don't like this drastic redesign of gameplay and style/looks should be expecting an actual Devil May Cry in a year or two. If I wasn't such a fanboy of the original DMC I might've picked up this game, but in my opinion they should just take off the DMC logo, they might gain more customers.

The only thing i see as a resemblance to Dante here is when he falls backwards off the building. He has that egotistical smartass look on his face, as he puts Ebony and Ivory away, that Dante wouldnt BE Dante without. The only thing they fucked up was the black hair. My best friend called me Dante cuz i was so much like him. I dye my hair black and find out they changed his hair too??

Definitely not Dante. AT ALL. Way to fix what isn't broken, Capcom. I'm hoping this is a "clone", but that's wishful thinking of a needless subplot in the series. This is supposed to be a "remake" of the series. Ninja Theory even said themselves, "What was cool 12 years ago isn’t cool anymore”. Sorry, but I call bullshit on that one. Yes, please ignore the fact that this game has STUNNING GRAPHICS, interesting looking GAME PLAY, and a whole NEW STORY they'll be telling (a story in which they'll probably EXPLAIN why Dante looks different and in which he'll probably gain his white hair at some point).

Hey guys theres an explaination as to why Dante looks like this now,
This is a seperate reality and timeline, and the Dante of old games is in another one. I guess that kind of plays into being pulled into Limbo, but the game comes out some time next year, and as a veteran and someone whos been there since 3 playing DmC1 to 4 I'm looking forward to it. Im interested in seeing how the plot TRULY plays out. So all you ppl bitching about the look, just enjoy the game and give it a try!
