Then you can tell by the way he fell it was a direct result of that contact. It's still an impressive move imo, just not what it's made out to be. Daniels was right, that should be a foul.

You almost always see that in highlights that make crossovers and other moves out to be filthy. Jordan got away with it all the time.

it's called a crossover. the move here is a double crossover. the purpose is to get the defender off of his feet but in the wrong direction. in the double cross, you do this twice, and often the defender readjusts too slowly or is off balance by the end of the second cross, like in the video.

if you ever get crossed, like most of us do at some point,you'll find your feet planted on the wrong side and your body and arms flailing in the other as the defender goes by, hence,"breaking ankles"
