Walmart is more or less reasonably reliable. Some grocery stores during canning season, if you're in a community that has gardeners. Ace Hardware is very reliable. I added brown sugar after the half & half. It desolves a little better, you don't end up with that sugar concrete as often. I don't use fake sugar, that stuff's nasty, upsets my gut. Wd like to find a reliable source of maple sugar...
I reuse them (after a good cleaning, of course). Of course, they don't tend to stay in the fridge that long, so I really don't make huge demands on the lids. As long as they're reasonably straight and able to sit on the rim of the jar without rocking, and there isn't any obvious deterioration of the sealing compound that would prevent a good seal.
I like to freeze my leftover coffee in an ice cube tray, and use it to ice my coffee without diluting it. It's good for a nice summer drink.

I found some of the jars at Walmart today. Can the lids be reused or do they have to be replaced after they seal? So many questions Sorry!
