  • Was life that much harder in Estonia than in America in the late '90s? Call me naive, but I'd really like to hear the differences in lifestyle you experienced.

  • Moooooosh!

  • Tahaks ise ka USAsse elama tulla, mitte et Eestis väga halb on, aga Ameerika elu passiks minule paremini. Eks näis mis saab...

  • Please talk about how you meet him. I love to hear it. I meet my hubby of 22yrs married. Know each other for 26yrs. Still going strong. Happy Happy 12th Anniversary!! So glad you made it here. Because we would not have your great video to watch. Most of all that amazing beauty of a dog!! XOXOX!!

  • I'm glad you're here Helen, america is your home, beautiful! and of course estonia, europe is also your home too! both countries are for you beautiful! xxxx, Hector

  • Happy 12th anniversary Helen! I'm so glad we moved to Houston and have gotten to know each other. I moved here late in 1998 but moving from Oregon is much easier than from Estonia. I did have my challenges though like trying to drive across the country in an old 1978 Thunderbird with only $250 to my name. I don't think it would even be possible with today's gas prices.

  • HE TOOK PICTURE OF YOUR BOOBS....WITH YOUR EYES CLOSE!? I don't know....hmmmmm Well glad you made it to America. I'm born and raised here I been wanting to checkout Canda, Australia, and New Zealand. I kinda wanna move now.

  • Helen your vlogs always put a smile on my face. Estonia's loss is the States gain.

  • You worked hard to earn your way to the US. So glad you are happy and have a great life now. You have oranges? Lucky! We already had an October snowstorm with over a foot of snow in NJ. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Happy 12th Anniversary! Glad you are here.

  • Hey Helen, how did you feel about the Houston weather? It's BRUTAL here in the summer! I moved from New York back in Jan.92 and that first summer was awful, actually there are ALL awful! Even today it was so humid.

  • i am embarrased to say that the mail order bride thing did cross my mind. thanks for clearing that up.

well, i hope your husband realizes howlucky he is and are glad that you chose to be on this side of the pond... and if you are the perfect example of what estonia has to offer, please ask for more of your girlfriends to come lol jk!

also, i have to say for someone who came here 12 years ago with no english, you speak the language better than some i know who were born in north america...

  • It's been a year since I have seen my husband! Thats super hard! I went to Egypt and got married there and now he'll be here next MONTH! ONE HELL OF YEAR I NEVER EVER WANT TO EXPERIENCE AGAIN! :)

  • Sounds like a pain with the paperwork, gotta love bureaucracy...lol

People call you a mail order bride?.....lol

  • I had a tear in my eyes of your story, you were lucky to have your fiance at that time. My husband is living in the states alone, but I dare not go with him. That is the life. I have a good work and US money has go down so badly, better stay here. Thanks for the story. Angie

  • Good gracious Lord in Heaven Helen. I love your sunglasses, hair and oranges in this one.
