The facade thing is because I personally believe your party is a bunch of crooks, as I'm sure that you believe the converse. But when you say that you fight for the 1st amendment, which by the way doesn't testify on lies or hate speech. The Supreme Court has ruled that only in cases of yelling fire in a crowded theater can free speech be abridged. Also, you insult a man after he's dead. Ingrate coward

No where in case law or in writing does anything testify to your twisted perverted view of what the document should be. If you notice, I don't say you can't argue. Your ability to insult whoever you want is a first amendment right, as is Liberalviewer's ability to post whatever he wants. None of that changes the fact that you are an ingrate coward.

A man who compares British presence in Northern Ireland to US presence in the Vietnam war (which his brother incidentally orchestrated) is not beyond criticism. On the day of his funeral, this extremist was portrayed as a "great and moral man", whilst suffering from his brain tumor, there were even plans to grant him an honorary knighthood. A man who is being lavished with praise is not immune from criticism.

Im a Christian. I'm not slamming my own religion. I 'm saying the Party that claims the trophy when it aligns with preachers, religious special interests and runs campaign commercials toting their christianity, always points fingers. Ted Kennedy was dying and tea baggers were holding signs wishing him dead. This page contains go to hell wishes to him. How can all this really be if we are christians? Its ok to judge his character, but to wish him to hell isn't what our religion is about.

He never said earthquakes will consumes countries because they've made a pact with the devil, or fires in the hills of states just because the way celebrities live, he never said floods and winds would displace hundreds of thousands and kill people in New Orleans. Ted Kennedy and others dedicated their lives to ensuring the murder of millions of innocent babies. So yes, it is more than appropriate that he be criticized after his funeral. It's ok if we criticize hitler, serial killers, saddam etc. Kennedy is right up there with those guys. I think the world has been kind to this murderer.

While I disagree with the substance of what Rove said, personally I'm glad he was on that day. This may say something about me others wont like but I've always been bothered by the equating of "respect for the dead" with "if you disagree with someone who just died shut up or lie." When Jerry Falwell died and Christopher Hitchens said "it's a pity there's no hell for him to go to" on CNN I applauded it because it needed to be remembered. Rove may be wrong, but he was right to express his view

Would you expect Karl Rove to find good things to say about Hitler too? Kennedy called Bush's Iraq war entry a fraud? Is a fraud the same as a liar? Rove said nice things about Kennedy and balanced it with the truth.

It is never appropriate to bash someone on the day of their funeral. I think Fox News showed poor taste in giving this man a voice during their coverage of such an event. Sure, he has a right to his say, after all, Ted Kennedy served in the armed forces, and became a great leader in the Senate, both the President and Bobby were assasinated so he could have that right. Countless others lost their lives for that cause. But, on the day of a man's funeral, pretty low if you ask me.

Before him their was no minmum wage, their was little money for cancer research and their was no such thing as the American With Disabilities Act. He helped save Social Security from REpublicans who wanted to privatise it.
