if Billy the Kid had been alive to see this, he'd have shot these animators, voice actors, producers, and scriptwriters until they stopped twitching =/

for reasons including (but not limited to): making Rin Tin Can sound like a gay Huckleberry Hound, and for making Lucky Luke sound like "Donny" Cash (Johnny Cash's unemployed, sexually deviant younger brother with a very inflated and fragile macho male ego who lives vicariously through his brother's fame and success).

@sygo7g I remember those tapes with the fake English theme. There was a real English theme, but modern English prints on DVD don't have it. It was on some English-language VHS tapes released in Canada back in the 90s, though.

Oh my god, Lucky Luke's voice sounds to overly macho. It doesn't fit him. :(

But still, thanks for uploading. Lucky Luke's one of my fav comics and this is the first time I've ever seen the cartoon.

the design is great but the story was very weak.

But I loved the design because

I'm a fan of Billy the Kid!

The comic book this cartoon is base on is much better and in fact it did a good homage to the historical Billy the Kid - yhe, they had him in the age of 12 as well, to poke the fun of him being named "the kid' for a reasone, but the book mainly poke fun of how people in the old west where easly terrorize or buly by random desperadose.

Lucky Luke comics where very good in doing homages to popular western characters (Jessy James, Calamity Jane, Judge Roy) and I recomend them to any western fan.
