  • anywhere i can buy it online that ships international?

  • can you tell me where exactly have you bought it, and if i can find it on the internet? Thanks in regards!!

  • You know, My Mom just asked me last nite if I would like "a couple of engine models" I think this is what she meant. Soon shall see.

  • Dude, I'm speechless. So, I'll just say wow & thank u.

  • Wow, you have some patience. I remember getting a Wankel model engine like this when I was a kid.

  • I remember building that as a kid! lol

  • very cool indeed, Dave.

  • Great as always! You are one of my few subscriptions I search out videos for and see what you've been up to. Thanks for the great and varied videos. Keep it up!

  • haha nice vid i am a car mecanic so i injoyd do they have real working mini v8 in rc car

  • @8alakai8 check out rc wizzard

  • You have a rare "black out" Visible V8.

They are not worth more than any other Visible V8, but they are rare just the same.

Many of these were returned to the dealer for a refund and then tossed out.

    Nice video, thanks.

  • Im pretty sure my dad has one of those that he built when he was a kid

  • nice job Dave i remember that exact model as a kid, as i was a plastic modeler before progressing into Rc models thanks for the nostalgia makes me think back when i was a kid

  • nice graphics

  • What a detailed and educational kit. That said, I would have lost my mind trying to assemble that! Good one Dave!

  • Nifty

  • Great work Dave, brings back memories of as a kid did one similar but was a Chevy 350 motor from a corvette and was great to build, and had a couple of missing metal push rods but my Dad machined up some on the lathe for me so was good to go

  • I put one of these together as a kid (I'm now 44)and it helped me understand the operation of valve train, ignition systems and timing. That was not an easy model to assemble especially as a kid but I sure learned alot. Thanks for sharing Dave.

  • haha i have this im giing to build it soon :)

  • Awesome!! Too bad it won't fly. :-)

  • Lovely kit {"_*}

  • Cool!

  • my second name is revell

  • Hay Dave, Dad and I built a radial aircraft engine just like your car engine some 30 years ago. Still have it, Good video. Wonder if you can still find stuff like this to built ? Tom

  • I had one of these. I found it to be poor quality mouldings and mating parts/surfaces to be rather innacurate. However, it was a great kit idea and really cool for the time.

  • Nice engine!

  • Awesome

  • Love the music Dave... Your vids always have a cool sound Track.

  • Dave, I haven't seen one of those models like in forever, brings me back when i took a engin tune up class at my local Jr College, damn almost 30 yrs ago

  • Now THAT was cool!

    Thumbs up!~~John

  • I only remember seeing this model many times in the 70's at Thrifty's, etc. Way too expensive for me at the time.

  • i had one of these when i was a kid. brings back some good memory's

    Thanks Nightflyyer :)

  • Truly an amazing video.

  • I'm speechless...I wouldn't attempt that in a million years:)

  • I don't have the patience for that kind of detail work.

  • very cool, i keep looking at the newer version at my local hobby lobby, i might have to get it

  • Nice, i had the 4 cylinder one, ford i think, wish i still had it.

  • Shoulda put a brushless outrunner in that starter housing!

  • @shuttj Haha. Then you need a speed controller and radio to run it... This was complicated enough, thanks. LOL.

  • @NightFlyyer People do that actually lol. Search up plastic V8 7,000 RPM! Crazy

  • Mr Herbert... this is HARDCORE! :D

  • Very nice dave love your videos!!

  • @NightFlyyer HATE testers glue just use CA on it works much better then "plastic model glue"

you should see the plamo scene in Japan they are nuts with model kits

that non-toxic stuff is the worst glue i have ever used

  • @Elios0000 Your right. Being a purist, I used the glue that came with it 34 years ago, but for sure I would have liked to have used the CA too. Thanks for your comment.

  • @Elios0000

I wouldn't use CA on clear styrene. it will bloom (cloud the plastic surface) and it's just not as strong as styrene cement.

I do like the modern thinner Testors red in the triangular bottle. It's still very slow to fully cure, but it won't cloud the plastic and the resulting joints are by far the strongest of any of the glues. Much stronger than the water thin Weld-Ons, Bondede or Tamiya glue.

  • i had one similiar and it was pretty hard too. Yours was cooler with a motor and lights mine you just hand crank it.

  • @Jaryd107 Thanks much. Yep back 34 years ago, they didn't have computers to figure out these designs, but it is pretty good and I'm sure today's are better, but with no motors or lights, which I think adds to the flavor. Glad you liked it.

  • I built the same one for my 4th grade science fair...although I couldn't get the spark plugs working and my starter skipped every other gear! Lol. I was pretty young and wasn't the best modeler at that age but I remember it like it was yesterday! Thanks for sharing Dave!

  • @TheLipRipp3r last time i checked you are still not a very great modeler :)

  • @TheDaveyht3

When was the last time ya checked, Davey..??..25 years ago??? lol

  • @TheLipRipp3r Thanks kindly. Your right, the early models were a bit temperamental. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • i would not get past the first step. lol

  • wow

  • little deuce coupe! Nice track Dave!

  • gotta love the V8 ! nice one Dave

  • @beverke7 Good ear. Thanks kindly.

  • SHOW OFF.........i had the 4 cylinder model
