  • Мулкурул не человек, но аватара рядом с конца юги. Все разрушено, и перезагрузите систему.

  • Мулкурул, это человек воды?

    Или нет???????

  • Capolavoro!! Mistico e suggestivo..

  • This is THE. coolest scene in any movie.

  • From a previous scene: "Frankly, I don't think that any of us has the spiritual powers that tribal people expect from Mulkurul. You see, a Mulkurul has incredible premonitory dreams.

They usually appear at the end of a cycle when nature has to renew itself.

Most primitive cultures see life in cycles.

Each cycle ends with an apocalypse of some kind. And then there is a rebirth." "What sort of apocalypse?" "Oh, usually a natural cataclysm - a freeze, a flood, a big rain."

  • one of the best Richard's movie, great director,I love that scene,I wachted it many years ago.

  • I had seen this movie when I was kind of young... and was surprised to see it on television at 4:30 in the morning before school started. I was so amazed... again... it was the only thing I could think about all day.

  • Just beautiful. Where, oh, where are films like this today?

  • You might want to try The River (1997) by Tsai Ming-liang. I've seen more recent films on themes of memory, environment, civilisation, globalization, too, many from China, Vietnam, Iran, others by Latin American directors. Also recent English lang. documentaries and other European films. I think films with this kind of mystery and truth still exist, more than ever as development extends further, however, we must seek them out- markets don't like their questions. Last Wave fans, pls see my video.

  • I think "The Last Wave" and "Fearless" are Weir's best films.

  • For me this is Weir's best film.

  • @unrest655321 It is and in the top five of my favorite movies.

  • not seen this but it does look cool and quite creepy...

  • strange disturbing movie; what about the giant wave?

  • It will come..this beautiful film is so 'normal' that it does not make sense to a lot of people at first.Just watch it..let it sink in.I think i was about 3 when i first saw this film..at least the first time i started remembering bits of it..in dreams and so forth,in my other 'waking life'.

  • The eerie atmosphere of this film! One of my favorites. Thanks.

  • When I watch this film, it sometimes seems disturbingly real (relating current events). It's hypnotic and unique, like the movie "Sorceror". The dramatic flair of this gem is like a deadly spider crawling around you. Then when the secret of the story unveils, the spider attacks.

  • I'm a huge fan of Friedkin's, "Sorcerer" too; great film, though I love Clouzot's original, "The Wages of Fear".

I love your analogy of the crawling spider! I'll probably have to steal that one from you, sorry! ;)

  • Love this film
