Agree but you're assuming that the Mustang is involved. Camaro kills Mustang, and VETTE kills their favorite Mustang - the Cobra - therefore the Vette KILLS SNAKES! The Cobra was built to compete with the Vette but has a tough time dealing with the upper shelf Z06 and still the base model.
Unless it's a supercharged Shelby Mustang GT versus a base Vette, there's no competition. Vette is ultimately so much better. Go GM! (Especially Cadillac)
I suppose it would depend on how many groceries you were trying to bring home. Needless to say, the car does have a surprising amount of trunkspace. If you want to get away for the weekend you can toss a lot of luggage back there.

Wait, now I know the real deal from magazines and car reports. The Mustang gets to 60mph in 6.8. The Mustang Shelby GT gets to 60mph in 4.5. The Corvette base gets to 60mph in 4.3. The Corvette Z06 gets to 60mph in 3.6. You guys are right. And the Silverado's better than the Mustang. The only two competitors that I think the Ford is better on is the Focus vs. Malibu. The Focus gets better fuel economy and is better priced. But the Vette looks cooler than the Mustang, and it's more luxurious.
Think I'd ever be able to afford one?
