HEY KANDEE! Foremost I love you! I am a certified esthetician. With the knowledge I gained, I learned you are not suppose to scrub your face each day, only once a wk or twice for oily skin. Especially avoid your fragile eye area and rubbing the makeup into ur skin without removing first. Over exfoliation causes dry skin and faster aging. Packaging may suggest gentle for everyday use but its not appropriate. I just want you to keep your beautiful skin so thought I'd share what I just learned!

You can attend beauty school. Study Cosmetology, like kandee, which includes hair, makeup, manicuring, waxing and skincare for a yr n half or two years. OR attend a beauty school that has an esthetics program which can take a little more than half a year. In school you learn basics and enough to pass state board to get your license. After school is important to further your education:) I love it! Good luck!!!

@Dabupa1185 EXACTLY! lol On top of that your cleanser should take off ALL of your makeup. You shouldn't have crap on your cotton round when you use toner (or freshner as it's called with the line of products I use). I actually did a test with the product line I use and there's NO residue left over. I find it really disturbing that so many makeup youtube people are soooo misinformed about so many things when it comes to cleansing your face! I personally use Lbri it's aloe based sooo amazing!

No matter what I seen to try for a cleanser I always get a really red face and some spots will burn like a sunburn and then my face becomes very oily....do you have any suggestions of something I could try that isn't very expensive?

You should try using un-petroleum multi-purpose jelly instead of Vaseline. Like Alba Botanica Multi-Purpose Jelly, it's a moisturizer and protectant made from only pure plant oils and all natural waxes

i luv this video soo much! but its not good to exfoliate every night coz your skin needs to do some of the dead skin work itself :) i exfoliate with a mixture of honey, extra virgin olive oil and sugar once a week :) if you want to see a tutorial of Michelle Phan doing this just go on her channel and search "Dry Skin?" :))
