@asalmog These two agreed to do a Superbowl commercial together. It was very successful because no one expected it. (BTW you can't really go wrong with Oprah either.) It was basically for ratings. They certainly aren't buddy-buddy now. There is still a great deal of bitterness.

@armythug123 No. He's still pissed because he helped Jay in the early 80's by letting him do his stand-up on his show and then Jay turned around and backstabbed him by pretty much forcing NBC and Carson to hire him instead of Letterman (who is much funnier and sincere than Jay could ever hope to be).

Anyway, it's a moot point as Letterman has been kicking ass more than ever on CBS.

Leno should have retired long before even even promised he would. Now he's trashed his legacy and NBC too.
