There were some original bits.. try not to use andrew kramer tutorials in your show reel... This isnt a VPC show reel, its YOUR show reel. make something of yours. Most of the original bits were nice.

this demo reel was ok i would highly recomend not using ANYTHING from video copilot because evryone has evolution and riot gear and everyone has done the tutorials employers and postproduction houses see that everyday and although you may be talented when you put a well known tutorial in you demo reel it just shows you can copy someone. im sure you have all the creativity in the world but this doesnt show it.bremember kramers dvds are tools and shouldmt be your whole composition

hey, non of this was done in 3d software. it was all after effects and photoshop. the lines were done using particles linked to audio keyframes.

At 0:12 sequence the floor what material did u use how did u get that floor metalic sheen? At 1:15 with the cars the elements on the floor did u create them of were they presets?

at 0:12 all it is is a brushed metal image and i have put a slightly blurred reflective layer underneath to create the illusion thats its reflective. the car scene at 1:15 is all my own creation i used photoshop to create all the elements. i have had a look at your show reel and i see its basically all AC dvds put together. i used some of his ideas and tried to deviate away from them as much as possible but i must admit he is a genius so some of his work did sneak into my reel.

it was done with after effects and photoshop. the Visual bit is created in after effects using a camera in 3d space.
