Then I think i can still help you!

You should make a glass roof and make sure that there are no light sources (torches for example) in the "spawn-room".

Since zombies can only spawn at night, it will actually start at night!

But for that you will need to place pressure plates around or in front of the spawner.

then when the zombies spawn and start walking they will touch the pressure pads and activate something!

(Btw, I will also make a tutorial for it and put it on youtube!)

@theXevilXmuffin You can only get spawners in Multiplayer , BUT I have a Salustion Make a big dark dark room for the mobs to spawn in . but you will get all mobs . DO NOT make 3 blocks tall or endermen will spawn and destroy it ! hope this helps :)

an easyier way for the looping system is to make a redstone clock setup where it keeps going around and around looping... how do you make it stop or go? have the loop switch wire out to a piston that pushes a block between two redstone in the clock system. much simpler. the clock system is also a lot easyier to delay

u know a repeater has 4 setting of delay. default is .5seconds and if u right click it it gives .5seconds more all the way up to a max of 2seconds. saves some repeaters and space =D

1st notch is .1

2nd notch is .2

3rd notch is .3

and 4th notch is .4

so 5 repeaters set to notch 4 gives 2 seconds, check the wiki if you don't believe me.
