ive only ever had one windows mobile phone before and whenever i exited out of something (like the settings or something) it remained open and i had to go into the task manager to close it... does this phone do that as well

Don't buy tis phone! It is rubbish. I have got it myself (2 yea contract). It always crashes andyou have to take out the battery to restart it.

That's what I thought as well.And then I went through some reviews and comparisons,and by them,there is not much of a difference.The only advantage Android has are the apps at the market store.Yet I found some nice apps for WM.Then a guy over forum tells me WM 6.5 on this phone is muuuch better than Android on Tattoo,bcs Tattoo has 528 MHz fast processor,which is bad for Android.God damn. :D

200 pound in the UK and $US500 seems a bit high. I just brought one here in NZ for $419 on contract, $499 without. For a fully featured HTC with mobile 6.5, wifi, gps, etc it is a good price. It is just $100 dearer than a HTC Touch Viva and $500 cheaper than the other HTC offerings like the Desire, Diamond etc.

Does this device have an accelerometer? So does it sense a horizontal holding? Cause then you should get a bigger QWERTY while typing e-mails or textmessages.

Nice review, thanks. I missed a comment about Windows Mobile 6.5 and their new interface, which is much more fingerfriendly then Windows Mobile 6.1. You made a review of a cellphone, or touchphone, but Touch2 is Pocket PC(!!!)Android, Symbian could not be compared with Windows Mobile!!:-)

Windows is great, but some of you, may not need even 10% of its facility. Make review of Samsung touchphones. Pocket PC is for people who need it, and now what they can.

I am a bit confused. You said there is 256mb of RAM and you can extend the storage with a microSD card. Do you mean there is 256mb of storage on board because you said both those points one after the other. :S

Yes, 256MB in the handset. Then you can extend for storing video, music etc using microSD.
