Cont. It is interesting that Miller wants free speech when it comes to belief in evolution. However, he is doing all that he can to prevent dissenting scientists from being heard in the school system thru his participation in court actions and politicizing. as seen here. 5:30 Miller digresses, as he frequently does, from the true issues of science and data, trying to make a hero of one woman while using the courts to Expel those who have scientific evidence that conflict with evolution. @carlrs15 Perhaps you haven't reflected on the nature of Youtube. If you leave a place for comments, then people are allowed to make comments. You can stop that feature. You can even Expell/block me personally if you wish. However you are sending out a message to the public. I think it is a false and harmful message - though I'm sure you don't realize that. Since this is a public forum, unless you Expell me, I will continue to critique this video, just as countless others critique YT vids.
@carlrs15 Cont. Of course you, or anyone else, is free to debunk my critiques, you know like provide evidence that the Scopes trial didn't use the tooth of an extinct pig and call it an example of human "evolution". Or you could explain how Miller is NOT breaking the first law of logic by saying both that there is no intelligent design and that Jesus created everything, as he did on Colbert. Or you could just take the easy route and, again, Expel me.
@carlrs15 Oh, and btw I am not just picking on your vid per se. I have critiqued many evolution vids, particulary Miller's. Twice I have been Expelled. Usually not, though. I saw yours and it was just next on the list. I'm admittedly on a mission to counteract what I feel is harmful disinformation being fed to little children in the schools, and for that matter to the general public. When I am finished with this vid - or if you Expel me - I will go onto the next. Persistent ain't I? :-D
2:22 Cont. I always find it amazing, almost amusing, that Miller harkens back to the Scopes trial for support for evolution! The truth is that the "evidence" for evolution that was presented was later found out to be a tooth from an extinct pig! Most people don't know that - a fact which I suppose evoevangelists are counting on. Just as that pig's tooth was held up and called an evolving human, so it goes today, with many lies & false assumptions presented as evidence for the naive. Cont.
Cont. Miller also creates a false impression about "scientists." The people in the forefront of opposition to evolution are scientists from every field! As Expelled shows, they can't get published in the politcally correct, orthodox, Darwin-think, peer reviews. Those who are brave enough go elsewhere to get published. In tomes. And they aren't just saying,"Believe the Bible. End of story." They put up evo's side, with many quotes, & their side & let you see what the data really supports.
Cont. As Miller has said himself, less than 1/2 of Americans believe in evolution. The opposition to evolution has been growing by leaps and bounds as anyone can see by simply glancing at YT, the net, places like Answers In Genesis, the movie Expelled etc. This why Miller & others are trying to get the state, thru the courts, to squash dissenters. That is exactly what happened in Dover where a non science trained judge was able to define, for others,what "science" is. Cont.
1:35 This quote really has nothing to do with the real issues, the sci-en-tif-ic issues. Lots of people say lots of things. Miller often uses such quotes to elicit laughter/ridicule of the opopositions, rather than getting into the weighty & Important issues of data. This is because, when analyzed, his talks are primarily for purposes of propaganda & politicizing. 2:10 He says the American people will side with evoluton if the scientific community gives them the chance to do that. B.S. Cont
Cont. More examples of dble talk. I have seen Miller on another YT vid saying, "Scientists should stay above poliltics." Within minutes, as here, he was putting up creation vs. evolution maps and calling for his audience to politically campaign for evo! Also, he totally abdicated his role as a scientist at Dover, and helped the state to be the one to decide what science is. Over & over he touts the decision of a non science trained poliltically appointed judge, &, non scienitist lawyers.
I wasn't able to fit my response into one reply comment, and I really don't feel like breaking it up into individual comments. I sent you a personal message with my reply. Read it, internalize it, whatever.
Cont. Also on the Colbert Report Colbert talks about the primal pond as if it is scientific fact. It is purely someone's armchair fantasy - like all of evo - with not 1 shred of evidence. In fact it flies in the face of the LAW of biogenesis. Why does Miller, a trained scientist, not correct Colbert? Because evolutionists are always presenting unscientific, in fact antiscientific, theories to the public as if they are based on scientific evidence - while little children get scammed.
On the Colbert Report Miller says that as a Roman Catholic he believes that "Jesus Christ is the Creator of all that is, seen and unseen." Then he holds a seminar called The Collapse of Intelligent Design! Typical evo dbl talk and dbl think. Typical lack of basic logic. The 1st law of logic is that 2 contradictory statements cannot both be true. How can Yeshua, aka Jesus, create without intelligent design? All of evolution is based on one logical fallacy after another for the naive public.

@LoricaLady
I guess the subtext of my last message wasn't clear enough. So, I'll spell this out plainly:
1. I don't care what you think you know about science and evolution. You've already proved that arguing the issue is pointless.
2. My videos aren't a message board to post your daily updates. Stop posting things on here.
3. I don't care. Stop posting whatever it is you find "amazing, almost amusing." Did I mention that I don't care?
