  • Omg i love your ragime and think it is soooo healthy.... mine is really bad... well actually i dont follow a regime at all but i wanna start n would love to know why you air-dry your hair instead ov blowdry like others.... n howcome your hair dosnt frizz aftah its dry.... plz answer... would really apreciate.... <3

  • @rufaro28 I air dry because heat is bad for the hair. It dries out all the moisture in the hair and that can lead to breakage. Air drying helps trap the moisture in the hair. My hair doesn't frizz when it's air dried because I seal my cuticles with cold water on my final, rinse. Cold water closes the pores in your hair so that your hair doesn't frizz up.

  • @ladydipset88 THANX SOO MUCH... ALWAYS WONDERED X

  • great video

  • @Crystalbeauty101 Thanks!

  • i love the song what is it

  • @ISVandME Corinne Bailey Rae- Put Your Records On

  • @ladydipset88 thanks =) great hair tips

  • @ISVandME You're welcome and thanks!

  • When it comes to the Coconut oil, can i purchase the Blue Magic type that says conditioner?

  • @keziah91 No..that's filled with mineral oil and petroleum..I use organic coconut oil. The one that melts when the environment is hot, and freezes when the environment is cold. You can find it at the supermarket in the Organic Aisle.

  • between Organic Root Stimulator lotion and S-Curl Moisturizer, which works best do you think if you have used ORS?

  • @kenyagirl2009 Definitely S-curl! My hair drinks up the Olive oil lotion and gets dry again too fast. But the Scurl stays moist in my hair all day and night.

  • I LOVE YOUR TECHNIQUES...THEY ARE VERY INFORMATIVE AND I AM GOING TO START USING THE PRODUCTS YOU USE. MY HAIR IS VERY THIN IN THE CROWN IT IS HEREDITARY AND I PRAY THIS WILL HELP THICKEN AND HELP REGROW IT BACK....THANK'S AGAIN...YOU ARE A BLESSING!!!

  • @shabazzian Thanks. Let me know how it turns out.

  • You were sooo helpful!

    thank youuu

    i finally understand looll

    God bless!

    <3

  • @atlzfynest03 Thanks. I'm always happy to help. :)

  • if you dont take down your bun how do you moistruize and seal everyday? AWESOME video. helped me alot.

  • @bababagirl01 I take down my bun, but not the ponytail...just the bun part. I moisturize and seal the ponytail, then put a plastic baggy over it before bed. When i wake up in the morning, my hair is still in a ponytail, all i do is remove the plastic bag and remake the bun part! =) No manipulation at all. Hope this made sense. I will do a bun tutorial in the future. Right now i have a sew-in.

  • u wash ur hair in the braids

  • @foxyfirefighter246 Yea i know Lekair has mineral oil in it...but not all products that have mineral oil is bad for your hair. Only moisturizers with mineral oil is bad b/c it blocks out the moisture and dries out your hair. I did a search on methlyparaben and thanks for telling me about it. I stopped using Lekair like 3 months ago anyway. I need to do more research and start using all natural products. Thanks for your concern!

  • @shayglam94 Well, hair is always growing....if you do what i do then you will retain length, which allows you to see progress.

  • Thanks alot your regimen is so simple and easy to understand

  • @dadaboo08 Your welcome!

  • Awesome video!!! Great job : D

  • @christenstjohn Thank you!

  • Just wondering, Why do you baggy your pony tail? To prevent breakage at night?

  • @AngelProject22 After you get a fresh trim, baggying your fresh ends at night helps to prolong the life of your trim. It's basically a technique used to prevent split ends and keep the ends of your hair healthy so you wont have to trim so much.

  • whats the song? :D and my hair is 8 inches! ( i believe its short) :(

  • Hi, I'm a 15 year old girl (African American) and I get a relaxer about 3 times every 3 months, (Not once a month though). The only time I really wash my hair is when Im getting a relaxer, I know its bad but idk it doesnt really get dirty and idk which shampoos to use and i'd rather not switch products. If you could please give me some advice i'd be worth it! Ps. I'd love some style too!

  • How long before you saw NEW GROWTH and im not talking about split ends????

  • How long before you saw NEW GROWTH and im not talking about split ends

  • Hi i am a 12 year old mixed girl im in the process of trying to maintain my bushy tightly curled hair when it gets wet do you have any recommendations in products i can use...

  • @JuS0ApPeALING Maybe you can try to use natural hair products. Im sure if you did a Google search, you would find something! I dont really know about natural hair like that, only relaxed. But im learning because im helping my sister go natural.

  • Nice Vid!!!

  • And your hair looks really healthy and shiny btw ^.^

  • Oooo baggying the ends..never thought to do that. I think I'll try it! Thanks =]

  • Im in the process of tryn to grow my hair, but its like to my ears. What are some protective styles I can do by my hair being shorter?

  • @avera08 Have you ever thought about getting braids?

Thats a great protective style to try. Just make sure its not too tight.

  • but isn't lekair protein? so you use protein every week without adding a moisturizing conditioner? also do you go to sleep with your baggy everynight. I tried baggy for more than 3 hours my hair comes out wet.

  • @poupeejolie Yes lekair is a light protein, which means it can be used once a week. I add coconut oil to it to balance out the protein and moisture levels....works like a charm. But now i use Keracare Humecto as a moisturizing deep conditoner just to make sure my hair is getting the full benefits. I will post an updated hair regimen video soon. But this regimen you see in the video is a very good one and gave me great results. Maybe when you baggy, you put too much product. Try to use less.

  • one of my fave hair regimens<3

  • Aww thanks..im glad it's working out for you!

  • I love this regiment. I had a head cold and tried it without airdrying my hair. I blow dried my hair on low (not all the way) and set my hair on big rollers. My hair has so much body and shine. My co workers can not believe I have so much body. They just want to touch it ! LOL! And I acheived great hair by watching You Tube. I'm on my way to healthier hair. Thanks very much!

  • wow so you really dont comb or brush your hair?

  • @queenofspades84 Not really..After i take down my bun, I leave my hair in the same ponytail overnight, and then in the morning i redo my bun. I only smooth down stray hairs with my boar bristle brush..other than that, i do not really comb or brush...doing that everyday can really damage your hair.

  • Can u make a vid of the hairstlyes u had during ur journey. Also show how u style ur hair day to day?

  • @2dmeak Sorry im answering so late, but yes ill try to make a video for that. Its kinda hard right now because im going back to school soon. Ill try the best i can!

  • After you get throught shampooing do you take the braids loose before you deep condition??

  • @blaqueonyx...yes i take the braids down, deep condition, and then rebraid the braids.

  • wat is it about the s-curl i thoght it was 4 sumthin else wat is it ABOUTit dats wat i want 2 kno and alsodo you have to wash out extra virgin olive oil

  • @kandies87...S-curl is a very moisturizing product which also has the ingredient "Panthenol" in it. Panthenol thickens hair up to 10% :-)

  • wot could i use to deep condition, and how often would i do this? wot step?

gud video btw, nice, short and informative...

  • Latoytoy...lol i like your screen name..anyways you can use any moisturizing conditioner to deep condition. In this video i used Lekair cholesterol. I often wash and deep condition only once a week.

  • i love your videos! but what is sealinq how do i do it.?

  • @iPr33tyGirl Sealing is when you moisturize your hair, and then use a natural oil to seal the moisturizer into your hair so that your hair stays moisturized longer.

  • Nice video, I have my own coming soon! I'm so excited.

  • very nice video!

  • Thanks! I hope its helping =]

  • this is my first time looking at your videos. im only one month into my hair journey :( and i must thank you for uploading these types of videos for people like me. this video is one of the greatest, very easy to understand step by step. i appreciate that

  • lol i never thought about that. well ill give it a try and let you know. thank ya

  • awesome vids but at the moment im not able to get all those products. i have medium/short hair and the back of my hair is extremely dry no matter what i try. anything you reccomend?

  • Have you tried moisturizing your hair with a water based moisturizer and sealing it in with a natural oil twice a day? Also, do you deep condition weekly with a light protein conditioner? If you do these things, your hair will not be dry anymore. These products dont cost a lot...most of them are less than $10 bucks! Im a broke college student lol.

  • Make sure you are using a protein deep conditioner and a very good water based moisturizer. The one's in my video are awesome..the Lekair and the Scurl. Every relaxed head will get a little breakage, but excessive breakage means you are lacking in either protein or moisture.

  • what type of conditioning caps/hooded dryer do you use when using conditioning treatments in your hair?

  • i use plastic processing caps..and i use a deep conditioning cap i put over my head...i dont go under the hooded dryer, i just use my cap. i bought it from the beauty supply store for $20 bucks i think.

  • How do you do your bun, can you do a video on it

  • do you flat iron your hair between perms

  • Thanks for the videos, they are informative! I didn't notice you mention anything about using protein. Do you use protein conditioners at all?

  • The Lekair that you see in the video is the only protein condition i use. Its a light protein condition which means that you can use it weekly. I dont using hard core protein like aphoghee at all. Too much work. My hair is doing wonderful with out it. I dont like to use complicated stuff. The simple the better =]

  • dont u get tired of wearin a bun every day???? i mean i couldnt do it...i have 2 change my hairstyle xspecially if my hair iz poppin,i have 2 wear it down, but thats just me...and i also hear that if u pull ur hair back 2 much the edges willl start to become thin,or the part of the scalp where the bun is will start to get thin...u ever heard about that/or have u ever experienced that??

  • When i get a fresh perm, i roller set my hair every 2 weeks, and wear my hair down for like 3 days. After that i put my hair back up into a bun. Buns are fine with me because i have ways of making them look cute. But no girl..you dont ONLY have to wear buns, you can do many cute protective styles. You can even wear half wigs, do braid outs, bantu knots, the possibilities are endless =] I choose to do a bun, you dont have to do it too lol.

  • your hair is gorgeous...how do you not get split ends from that bun...please tell me

  • I do not get any split ends from my buns because i take the hair and tuck it around my bun and secure it with 3 or 4 bobby pins. i "tuck" the hair around the bun. I believe you can only get split ends by doing a bun when you secure the bun with a rubber band. If you choose not to use bobby pins and would rather use a ponytail holder, make sure it wont snag your hair and make sure its coated..you can use Ouchless ponytail holders, those are pretty good.

  • How do you put your hair back up in a perfectly neat donut bun like that everyday without combing or brushing for the week?

  • Easy! I just leave my hair in that same ponytail. I take off the bun before i go to sleep so i can baggy the ends. In the morning, i use a comb to "smooth out" my hair, i dont actually comb it..then i use a brush to smooth out any fly away hairs. Then i do my bun with 3 bobby pins. My hair is not being messed with at all, and in return....it thanks you by GROWING =]

  • I love all your videos keep up the good work

  • Great video.. Next time I will try washing my hair w/ the big braids because my hair always gets tangled.. I've never air dried my hair but I will try that next time as well.. If I don't have the time I will definitely try to partially air dry for a few hrs before blow drying, so I'll be using less heat on my hair.

  • That's good. Make sure when you air dry your hair, you put s-curl or any water based moisturizer on your wet hair so that when the hair is 100% dry, it doesn't feel dry and crispy. That's one of the reasons why a lot of women dont like air drying..they feel that it leaves thier hair dry. The key to airdrying is moisture ladies!

  • Thanks for the tip.. Whenever you get a chance, can you please do a video showing how you do your bun.

  • i wanna see a video when u relax ur hair next

  • I dont self relax, i go to the Dominicans for that. I dont think im gonna video tape them relaxing my hair because i KNOW they're gonna talk spanish about me and people are gonna stare..and i dont like that much attention on me lol.

  • Your hair is going to looks beautiful at the end :)

  • I wash my hair once a week, not everyday.

  • i am soooo doing the braid while washing thing looks like a guud idea xoxo toija

  • Yep. When you was your hair in big braids, it prevents tangles and breakage =] Good luck!

  • i thought we were not supposed 2 wash our hair every day???? gr8 progress gurl
