I feel this band should not have ended the way they did after all the success they've had and the innovation they're responsible for new wave music. They were too good to just hate each other for the direction of their music. David Byrne's a genius, Chris Frantz is an underrated drummer, Jerry Harrison is a great musician on both guitar and keyboards as well as a successful producer, and who can forget the hottie on bass in Tina! I was a senior in college when they did this tour and I was lucky enough to see them live. They were one of the most unique groups of the 80's and put on a great show. Many years later I saw the Tom Tom Club which was no where near as good.

If you have never seen this entire concert film you have to watch from start to finish.

This reminds me of when I saw them at Narara in 1984. Same show, just white lights, no colours except for the backdrop! Classic performance. The band built up one by one with each new song till they were all on stage. One of the best concerts I've seen!

I know that David Byrne's a very talented and underrated frontman, but if he wasn't such an egomaniac and making the band all about what he wanted, then Talking Heads would've reunited and would be together today.

Erm, all of the members contributed. David was the frontman, and by far the most charismatic, but Jerry had a lot of say, and Tina and Chris cowrote most of the stuff from the first several albums. And The Heads would never reuinte, regardless of the egos of the members. They simply didn't have compatible artistic visions; there's nothing at all wrong with that.
