I can't understand how to get mine to turn on. It recognizes the pen on my computer as a flash drive, and it glows solid amber color when plugged in (either in wall or USB) and I can also make it glow solid blue if I press the power button while it's plugged in the computer. However it doesn't do a thing when it isn't plugged in. I tried resetting. It's new. Do I have to download software or something on it? Confused!!! Is it broke? The directions are not helpful at all.

Your not gonna clip it on backwards where the videocamera is facing you. Also your supposed to have it in a shirt pocket

I'm not sure I understand. This is a hidden camera pen, and yet the camera shines out a light on the opposite side of the clip. Which means if it's clipped to your clothing, whoever you're filming can see the light, right? Wouldn't that give away that you're filming them?

Flora(lovely girl) said quite clearly that the lens was above the clip. Potty trainies, don't you notice that when she is holding the pen the clip is not showing but the light is. The light is on the back of the pen.

If you cannot work that out then you should not handle sharp objects, just get back on with your potty education. You are not helping the case for the rest of us chaps.

@princebgm The camera is on the other side of pen. So if you clip pen to your shirt or pocket, the light is not noticeable. You can also cover it up with black tape. We have alarm clock camera that doesn't show the light. Great spy item!

SCENARIO: "I was working at the office my boss threatens me that if I don't do something, he will tell the cops I did something bad that I didn't do.... so I recorded it on pendrive and used it as evidence". ANOTHER scenario: "Cop calls me and threatens me with violence and then attacks me for not reason". the Pend drive is not the best but useful....

@femanvate I guess without the lights, it'll be difficult to tell whether the item is on and working. The lights are on the opposite side of the clip/camera lens. So if you clip the pen to the shirt, the lights are not visible.
