Look, obviously the intent of the cover song was a tribute to MCA. But that cannot be enough justification to ignore the simple fact that this is one of the worst covers of all time. It is painful to listen to and just plain embarrassing, and I even think Coldplay is an amazing band. Jay Z's No Sleep til Brooklyn was a real tribute that maintained all the attitude in the Beastie Boys Song. This cover has no attitude whatsoever, or even feeling for that matter.
