this boss battle was fucking epic just the stage for it said everything and the fact that you had to use all your skills from the beginning of the game to the end to kill SATAN.....let me reiterate that

This song really kinda speaks to me. It reminds me that in life we have multiple problems, and that life can seem bleak at times, but we have the strength to overcome our obstacles. It's amazing-- all this emotion, coming from a song in a video game, one of the last places one would look for emotions such as this.

There are multiple horizons from this song. I sense sorrow, pain, agony, but also, hope. The anticipation the player gets by hearing it alone, giving these feelings, is a blessing among game music. Unique genre, yet such an emotional piece. Some may call it bland or unmemorable, which is a fine opinion, but for people like you and me, we feel the games, and music takes a big part in it.

Personally, I feel like Lords of Shadow's "Final Confrontation is a cross between:

1) Brothers of Blood - God of War III

and

2) One Winged Angel - Final Fantasy VIII

But there's also its own original flavor in there. And the blend sure tastes great! :)

Off the subject. Just beat the game! Good overall but TOO MANY puzzles! No place for puzzles in an adventure game. Must be at least 20-30 if not more. Complaints about puzzles in game call KONAMI at 310-220-8330. Hopefully the next one has no puzzles or animals stealing our relics/magic.

Honestly there wasn't that many puzzles to where it detracted from the game. I'm sorry if you don't enjoy being challenged very much beyond mindlessly mashing buttons to kill enemies. The chu's who stole your items were kind of something they should have only done once or twice but they weren't so much of an annoyance that they detracted from the game in any way.

@BoydTheMilkmanX Just because I'm not a fan of puzzles doesn't mean I hate thinking. lol. For every boss fight there were 2 if not more puzzles. Do the math. That's alot. This is Castlevania not Tetris. I am not alone in my thoughts here. There is very little mindless about this game puzzles or not. I'd give this gave a 7.5 out of ten which is what most pro game critics gave it. This game is dominated by puzzles. Some boards had more than one. I know I beat this game.

It's incredibile how this kind of music can take you to the Middle Age.. You are there: you are the templar fighting for your God, you are the knight fighting for your faith, you fight for your redemption, for the sins you've committed..

I do not believe in God as He is presented by the Church and Christians, by I do admit that, without religion, lots of legends and even our past would have no sense.. The Middle is surely the "Obscure Age", yet it is the most beautiful!

Face it, Satan's not gonna have his own theme because it would suck. BTW this is not a theme for Satan, it's a tribute to Satan getting the literal hell kicked out of him by Gabriel Belmont. It's called the Final Confrontation because Satan's arse is going straight back to hell! :)
