I was actually on this boat once. It was during a field trip in fifth or sixth grade, and we even met Peter Marston. He was a very nice guy, and he talked about the movie and a few other things. Even taught us a few sea shanties. I just read that the Mimi "fell into disrepair and was scrapped in 2011". Reading that was a sad moment...

This movie and its sequel were made in the early and mid-eighties, and a few parts were kinda cheesy...but I still love it!
