@Sirdanforteque2231 Rave Racer is the true sequel to Ridge Racer in the Arcades. It features 2 new courses (excluding the extended course), new drifting system, new sound tracks and everything else that makes this sequel a "sequel". What you are seeing in that video is the original Ridge City course that the game feature.

well it takes place in Ridge Citty that concept came along more in R4 as rage racer (rr3) was a step away. In 4 they solidified the concept of the city its self tho most of the tracks werent in the first one they came back after and the city (or more of it) was built around that. Really only 2 or so games when u think about cause rave rr and rr2 were concepts (betas) leading up to RR on ps

@ShadowJacky I believe the First Ridge Racer had the same track and so did Ridge Racer 2 since the arcade version of RR2 was more of an upgrade rather than a sequel itself.

@UltraJackhammer ridge racers for psp are a compilation of tracks and music from previous games, I enjoyyes it a lot, but that old car designs from R4 just cannot be forgotten, they need to make them all again, all the 320.

Yea they stopped at 22.0.3.... I wish the wheel issue was fixed also, you cant pick the 3rd track.... I found a fix but when i tried it, it didnt seem to work.

you can pick the 3rd track. it requires good timing. its much easier to select it if you use a controller though.

I actually found it. I collect Rigde Racer games, I have all others but not the arcade. Thankfully now I found RR1, RR2, and Rave Racer

You need to get the emulator called VivaNonno (or Viva Nonno), It is THE System 22 emulator that allows you to run arcade

Ridge Racer 2 and Rave Racer ROMs at 60fps on almost any PC made in the last 7-8 years.

MAME runs this far too slow.

Viva Nonno does not emulate the games correctly. It does not emulate the DSP chips which, which, among rendering the polygons, also handle the car KI.
