  • I'm sure I heard something similar in a British soft drinks commercial about 20 years ago- I distinctly remember the tubular bell sound. But it doesn't strike me as exactly the same version. I've been trying to track it down ever since, and I'm sure it was by a French composer, written in the sixties (bound to be Pierre Henry in other words)- anybody got any suggestions?

  • Reminds me so much like Futurama o.o

  • @voodo133

The Futurama Song was inspired by this Song ;)

  • amazing, thanks for this!

  • I LOVE IT!!!

    sounds a bit like Futurama

  • @MissPeacok

That's beacause the futuruama theme is a cover/remix/rip-off of this one. And that's official.

  • Daft Punk - Rollin' & Scratchin'

    :)))

  • It sounds like your turntable is tracking about 1.25 grams and a hair slow.

  • im not liking this version but i do respect they distilled water trick and the brush to keep the crackles out im into boombox hence why im here grandmaster flash keep up the good recordings atb daz

  • I echo DerekKnisely's compliments, I was impressed by the quality of your copy of Henri/Colombier's soundtrack for "Messe pour le Temps Present". I saw the "Ballets du XX Siecle" perform back in the sixties, I believe. I got tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing this instrumental with the community,

  • What kind of liquid have you dropped on the vinyl's surface and why?

    Awesome recording, it's a must have. ^^

  • @allertse9 Distilled water

  • @RODALCO2007 OMG And what's that exactly for? I apreciate so much your information.

  • @allertse9 Better quality playback, less crackles and it cools the stylus too, and at the same time I have a brush cleaning the dust of the grooves.

  • @RODALCO2007 Distilled = LSD ! haha

  • Finally, somebody who makes videos of records who cares about high-quality audio reproduction. I thought I was the only one. Thanks for doing it right: a steady camera and full stereo sound. Good job!

  • @DerekKnisely Thanks for the compliment, glad you liked it.

  • very far out for its time

  • after one night of searching

it's the best psyche rock recorded on youtube

    almost 3d sounds

    thanks a lot

  • @tchikiboumtchiki That's the beauty of analogue media.

  • fucking awesome!

  • historic

  • I don't know what yu are talking about with the code "&fmt=18", but the stereo effects are in full effects over here. Nice one.

  • Great, there was a stage that this code had to be attached.

As YouTube improves the system all the time it obviously doesn't have to be added anymore. Glad you liked it, so do I.

  • outstanding!!!

  • sounds like a soundtrack for a badass lucio fulci horror movie =)

  • @reedeema

Or perhaps an animated television show about a man transported a thousand years into the future...

  • or that hehe

  • This is absolutely gnarly; I hope I can get my hands on one o' these sometime.

  • very nice sound quality, thankyou for this

  • Glad you enjoyed it. An excellent piece of early techno rock.
