  • so the landing gear angle is called dihedral?..I always thought that was the wing angle..I did not know this

  • @TheRocketSilo

Well it's like a bit of both

  • @TheRocketSilo I think this video is misinformation put to music. The dihedral, as defined in the old book in the beginning is the rise in the wing from root to tip. The only thing the wheels have to do with it is they show if the angle of both wings is not equal. His picture of bent landing gear,...honestly I don't even know. But It's got nothing to do with landing gear.

  • That sabre in the intro...

    in what scale is it?

  • thank for uploading very good video

    helped a lot =)

  • very nice!5/5

  • I used to have that issue, (before I thought it was just me) but it turns out that over time, the plastic from my very old kits (some dating to the early 1970's) changed shape due to either the humidity of the room or just getting old over time. Most kits I build now include straight gears, but its a nuisance when they dont. :)

  • Putting it in my playlist of useful ideas.. :)

  • Thanks!

  • I'm thirsty! I must be all 'dihedrated'... :)

Great little video.. Not all think of the right angles to the wheels and wings.. :) This should help... :)

  • Your very welcome!
